Chad again strokes the social media. Just like he led everybody by the nose during the last off season...he's just started early this year. I doubt anybody even sat on his Kawasaki much less rode it last week. You have to imagine Reedy laughing his arse off at such seriousness being posted here... Laughing

I dont think any rider under contract with another team is allowed to go test other teams bikes.....I could be wrong...But if Barcia for example was out riding a Kawasaki, be it for Reed or the Michigan Mafia - I would thing there would be some problems come paycheck time....maybe not, But having someone like Ferry test it " for you" would be ok I am sure....guess we'll soon see......

I don't think it really matters what a guy is "allowed" to do. These guys' compounds/tracks are in the middle of nowhere. What's to prevent them from riding/testing whatever they want?

Their team that is constantly with them when they are testing possibly? They aren't in the middle of nowhere by themselves bro

I dont think kroc would do that to ktm it would be a stupid move if he did. I think it will be a fellow kawi rider or an unsigned rider. Deano would be a great fit and I reckon chads team could get the best out if him if he can stay off the ground.

It was Tate on a factory twotwo pw50. He looked very comfortable and was super stokedly pumped to move up to the big ranks next year.

Anyone catch the interview with Team Babbitts owner saying they were interests on both side with CR22 and them. Only one rider that would be able to ride Reeds bike then. Tyler bowers

JT$ money has been an inspiration for Reed lately... Lot's of options but there's no way it's one of the guys racing right now.

Riders swap bike all the time when they know there is no one to see. Do you really think KR and RV have not ridden the others bikes? Riders try to do this for perspective...

By the look of his instagram page it looks like the kawi deal might involve Tedder racing.... He has a video of him and dakota tedder practicing starts. i doubt hes riding CR22 bike

I doubt Kenny would "test" a completely different bike 5 rounds into this season while being in the title hunt. If he did that and found he liked the Kawasaki a lot better it would destroy his confidence for the KTM and this still very young title hunt. I also thought Kenny's connection with KTM went much further then this American team. I always figured he would be one to stay with the same brand even if it meant slightly less money, (although it seems KTM would fork out any amount of $$$ for something they want)

Tomac was testing a factory kawi last year. Plus he has been "injured" for a couple of weeks. Not sure what is current contract is with geico. If his contract is up this year Id say its him for sure.

A little bit of a stretch but... Byrner? He lives nearby and is a good buddy. He'd be a relatively cheap hire, and maybe just as an outdoor guy this summer and that's all? Chad said on Pulp last night that Byrner's lap times have been good when they ride together. Like I said a bit unlikely but not out of the realm of possibility.

Though there's no way Chad would hire him for SX next year as he's said in the past he wants a contender. But maybe just for this years Nationals?

K.Roc's contract doesn't end till the end of next year. It's Marvin whose contract runs out this year. I'm 80% sure of it lol
