Stewart's bike won't even be running ONE Industries graphics next year. I doubt they would fork out that much money for a partial sponsorship. But Dungey to ONE sounds like a perfect fit

That's the truth (the bigger market part). I was whitewater rafting over the weekend and I saw at least 4 people in our group wearing Fox shorts/board shorts. I'm pretty sure that none of them are into dirtbikes.

No one has Fox's money. Stewart wants lots of money. If he left Fox, its probably for Nike or Oakley. I would imagine Nike....

Here's a stretch to cross sporting domains.
Bubba with Nike and his own tagged line. Then we could see Nike doing Bubba/Tiger ads together on TV. Gets the golfers interested in bikes and bikers playing golf.

Just a guess, could be huge!

Jeez, I hope Nike doesn't up its involvement in our sport. When the Swooshies made their way into hockey they bought Bauer and turned that line into commercial crap for the next five years. I would hate to think of what they would do to hardcore moto swag.

FOX is an action sports brand that has its roots in MX. They need to expand their markets in order to be able to compete in their core business, motocross.

I will be very suprised if JS isnt wearing FOX at A1 in '09

As they've just recently opened up a design office in Irvine not too far from Hurley and Oneil I would say they're definitely pushing towards the surf/skate market.

principal of what matter? that redbull wants its sponsored riders to run their helmets when they are paying the bills? I dont blame them.

I dont blame Fox for wanting their riders "head to toe" either. Especially when they are trying to sell in their product to the dealers that way, "head to toe"
