I liked it. Seemed to be more professional and kind of NASCARish. The super slow-mo was cool, as was the story about Davi and his struggles. FS1 seems to have taken it up a notch from Speed. I wish they would go into detail about how physically demanding this sport truly is. I thought they were going to go there when talking about what all Davi put his body through, but they didn't.

I agree the HD clarity was incredible for
me. I liked the broadcast, some things could be better but overall not bad
Better timing on the replays or split screen or something
Live sx in kick ass HD no complaints here

It was pretty good .
there were a couple times I was like
WTF tho
like saying nothing
about Tomac not being in the semi
and another time
the crowd and all the announcers
were like ooohing and aaahhhing
The camera wasn't on whatever they saw
And I was like what what what happened
and they never said why ..
. Then they just start talking about something
else lol
the clarity was awesome tho.and
what happened to windham
and McGrath doing some announcing ?
I read somewhere they were gonna be

With the addition of the semis the flow of the broadcast was spectacular; racing all the way through.

This small change makes the night show so much better for TV.

I am very impressed.

I thought it was all great except once again I think they "go back" to previous passes way too often.

She fills out her eskimo suit well? other than that i thought she was pretty boring. Myself, i'd rather have a rider walking the pits or plying the tunnels for the story.

That's why we have a DVR. I did think the coverage was excellent though.

What about the pass of the race before the race was even over?

It was great.

Just pull the camera back a little when on one guy so we can see the battle near them a little better.

I will wait by the mailbox on Friday for my Cycle News.

Overall, that was awesome race coverage. Was hoping Dianna would show us some boobs, but in reality with all things considered I watched every race live on TV- for free.

I would be some sort of retard to complain about free live SX.

This race probably reached hundreds of thousands of new viewers. Putting her out there was a strategic move, I doubt we see her all year. Speed had Rutlge Wood last year and we never saw him again. But she looked tired or old, I'll go for tired.

From the perspective of someone who used to have to wait for the USGP that was held in June to be shown on Wide World of Sports in December, it was awesome.

Camera angles could be improved and the director should stay on the live action, but it beat the living Hell out of waiting six months for the race.

I want Erin Bates back.

I thought it was excellent. I do wish they would pull some of the old ESPN stuff back like the Honda Stopwatch and the mechanic interviews during the race. Loved that stuff back in the day.

But overall I thought it was great.

Really like Jenny Taft a lot. She did awesome for her debut in SX.

HUGE fan of this broadcast! I think the whole show went smooth as could be. AWESOME to have the semi's put back into the program as it just made the night not only more exciting.....but we got to see more racing!

Hell yeah! Fox and Feld both did a great job with A1!

AND.......we get to see all 17 rounds live!!

How can you beat that??

I thought the actual race coverage was excellent. Great cometary from Emig, Ralph, and the GOAT. They had great camera angles, etc. Dahlgren was good as usual but using her only for the Social Media stuff seems like a waste.

This being said there was WAY to much in between racing cometary from the FOX crew. One lady on an empty set obviously reading off a script. It looked cheesy to say least.

This is Supercross and if the bikes aren't actually racing I want to hear the opinions of guys who actually know my sport. Not some generic sports announcer chick who doesn't know anything about Supercross/MX and could not care less if this was a Soccer match, NASCAR race, or WMBA game.

Overall I thought the coverage wasn't near as good as last years Speed Network coverage.

Not one commercial during any racing!!! They did all that between motos......Yeah FS1 gets my vote!

-Voda sucked and added zero value, her NCAA football reference had the worst timing and was completely irrelevant to everything. If you're going to keep Voda, get a panel of a couple ex- SX guys up there It would add legitimacy to that whole segment...if you watch NFL you'll note they always have the talking head running a panel of ex-NFLers - there's a reason for that!
-Its good that they are taking the time to explain the sport to new fans
-One of the cameras was shit, the halos that were forming in the photo were so bad they should take that camera/lens set and junk it immediately.
-If I want to see fan reactions I'll watch youtube, show the fucking race....I don't care that people are shocked and pulling their hair out because their favorite rider crashed
-Director/cameramen need better syncronization, there was a number of times commentators were focusing on a rider and the cameras were panning to find said rider.
-Graphics were great which I'm not surprised about, the big FOX network machine can pump out sweet looking graphics all day long

I'm in the TV business, and can say that this was clearly a first run effort...the carry-over crews (ie: shaheen/emig etc) kept it together.

The new hot chick doing the interviews needs a few more races and more research to get her act together...and I'm not sure WTF she's the one pressing the mic button..where the fuck is the audio crew???

It'll get better over time.

I agree that the role Krista was filling was the only disappointment. I really don't have an opinion on her, just the role she filled.

this was awesome... And bringing the semis back was awesome.... They did miss some key moments when the crowd saw things that we didn't.... But overall, I really liked the fox coverage

Overall I thought it was pretty good. They did step up the professionalism a bit but DD in her 'outfit' looked stupid next to Krista. You can have her in something sexy without looking stupid.

The 'super slow-mo' was not super slow-mo, if you watch MotoGP they have the real thing, this was just slightly slowed down coverage.

Also I didn't like the generic music they played when going to comercials.

The new erin bates i thought did great.

Always liked KV. The new Erin was good, I thought RC and DD had an off-night...especially RC. Emig, I never expect much from.

When u look as good as KV in the front, Michelin Man jackets need to be illegal to wear.

Absolutely, plus GOAT. Three guys who know the sport & industry, plus two of them are prior champions.
