Tiger Lacey [R.I.P]

That's what I heard also.
Hopefully he pulls through.

The last update that I had read...
Said he went to the hospital with flu like symptoms.
They sent him home and on his way home he stopped breathing and they(wife then police) had to do CPR.
I guess they rushed him to the hospital.
He is in ICU with some brain swelling.

They are doing tests to find out what is wrong.

wow!! hope not, if true,sounds like meningitis..a buddy of mine got it a few years ago, tough illness.

Wow, that's nuts. We all like to think we (and riders) are immune from this kind of stuff, when we're all mortal.

i had a couple great battles with Tiger in Washougal years ago, since then even though i don't know him, i've always appreciated the guy.

Peely....I raced INT with Tiger for a few years. Did you run INT as well here in the NW and what was your number? PM if you want to. Just wondering if we chewed some of the same dirt.

BTW....haven't heard anything back yet....still waiting.

OK....got a call back and I believe as of this morning they may still have Tiger in a self induced coma. ( this may not be 100% positive as the details right now are vague. ) I guess he was over in Kuwait a couple weeks ago for a race , came back here and was fine for a few days and then came down with something ( flu like stuff ) . I'm not sure if the trip to Kuwait and what he has is related or not and as of right now Tiger's condition hasn't changed all that much from what I understand. I'll know more this evening and will post what I can when I find out.

I do know of another NW pro here that I ride with quite a bit that was very well known here....made the trip over there about 20yrs ago and when he came back....he had came down with something which was an intestinal type infection that had him in the hospital for about a month and it took him quite a while to get back to normal. It "sounds " kind of like what Tiger may be going through.....but I honestly don't know.

If I find out anything else later this evening I will try to inform you guys the best I can.

It's not good news guys. The worst has happened. I am not a praying type but my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife , little brother Race , the rest of his family and friends.

God speed Tiger....you will be sorely missed by me and your other fellow moto heads here in the NW.

I'm not going to say any more at this time and we'll wait for an official statement from someone in the family. What a bummer day this turned out to be.

Damn definitely sad to hear. I remember seeing him racing arenacross when he must have only been about 16 or so.
