Yeah, I was there yesteday and came up on him not too long after he crashed. It didn't look good from my prospective. Honestly I loaded up and went home after seeing this. Very sobering seeing someone life flighted from a track. Just an awful deal all the way around. Please let us know how the surgery went yesterday as I know a lot of people who are thinking about Dale right now.

Didn't have surgery yesterday. they kept doing tests ,he is getting surgery to install pins ,and still no feeling from chest down doctor said its not looking good though. thks for the prayers and support

Doc said everything in surgery went real good as far as plates and getting it back straight ,he said the cord don't like to be moved and his was bent ,and they don't know what damage it has. its still swollen its up to the his body now . thanks again for the support here .

Damn...I hate it for him. That's why I finally made the tough decision to sell the bike at 47 this year. I had a bad one and almost ended up in a chair.. I sincerely hope the best for your friend...

Thats a very positive comment from your Doc. Have been down this road twice with a mate and a mate of a mate. If your buddies s/cord was Just bent (although still swollen) then we need to be positive here and think of a full recovery over time.

Under the circumstances, what the Doc said is just awesome. Your buddy is going to be just fine.

Hey man its your fault!! If you hadn't gave me that masterlink he wouldn't have been riding. LOL. I'm joking, Thanks for the loaner. He is fine now. He will be off the bike a few weeks. He is in much better shape than the op's friend.

he also has 6 broken ribs a punctured lung and a broken collar bone. Good news is doc came in around 4am and he could feel a little in his right foot ,nothing in left yet , thanks again everyone

That is great to hear, hopefully he can continue to progress. Since it is still so early after the accident, I would think that is a very positive sign.
