I remember about a year or two before Carmichael retired, during a press conference at which I believe was at one of the nationals Carmichael had called out one of the journalists from Motocross action. Stating something to the effects "if you don't have anything good to say about me then I don't want you to put me in your magazine at all" and the whole room lit up and started cheering. I believe it had a lot to do with how critical they were of his funky setup when he was on Hondas, with has bars rolled way back and what not. I always remember this for some reason, does anyone else recall what year or race that was at?

I thought you were going to give us some insider info that they had kissed and made up. It's Christmas time, miracles can happen. Oh well, carry on.

Ironically nobody from MXA was even at the race when he asked for one of them to step up to the plate.
How can you tell how someone's bike is setup if you don't even attend the races?

Who cares, MXA is a crappy magazine and RC was a dick a lot in interviews and sometimes on the track.

MXA not have enough pictures for you or give your bike a bad review?

You are correct I am a true fan, rider, racer and consumer of all thing moto. Perhaps you don't remember RC cursing in interviews or brake checking Reed.

MXA attends a lot of the Nationals just not all of them plus are at GH on Thursdays testing.

No, they had good pictures and ok race coverage. There bike tests sometimes were skewed. I just got tired of every bike they built, every part they tested, they always made it seem like you had to spend tons of money to have a competitive machine.

That is why I don't like the magazine. That statement is from their 60hp CRF450 article. So if you are less experienced rider, spend thousands of dollars (approximately $5000.00) to build a even more powerful 450 and some how that will make you faster on the track. Ok

Me explaining how it is considered unsportsmanlike in motorsports to brake check, isn't going to help you, if you have to ask why.

We'll, RC and Chad are good friends now. He's forgotten it. Maybe you should too.

MXA praised RC for years for his fortitude & desire. They made an observation on his riding style which was first brought up by DeCoster & RC got butthurt.

Do you have sand in your vagina?

You sound like girl.... He brake checked reed? Boo friggity hoo!

that's called racing and if you don't think so you obviously grew up in the everyone play fair, everyone is a winner, there are no losers, and everyone gets a prize generation.

Pussification of America is what this illustrates!
