I remember about a year or two before Carmichael retired, during a press conference at which I believe was at one of the nationals Carmichael had called out one of the journalists from Motocross action. Stating something to the effects "if you don't have anything good to say about me then I don't want you to put me in your magazine at all" and the whole room lit up and started cheering. I believe it had a lot to do with how critical they were of his funky setup when he was on Hondas, with has bars rolled way back and what not. I always remember this for some reason, does anyone else recall what year or race that was at?
How can you tell how someone's bike is setup if you don't even attend the races?

Just kiddin' my brotha! And hey....if I don't get to talk to you before hand.....I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a safe new years!
Damn dude....it's been a long time I've known you. Maybe one of these days I'l fly down to So cal for one of the races....and I'll buy you all the beer you can drink......I'll even call a cab after!
That is why I don't like the magazine. That statement is from their 60hp CRF450 article. So if you are less experienced rider, spend thousands of dollars (approximately $5000.00) to build a even more powerful 450 and some how that will make you faster on the track. Ok
You sound like girl.... He brake checked reed? Boo friggity hoo!
that's called racing and if you don't think so you obviously grew up in the everyone play fair, everyone is a winner, there are no losers, and everyone gets a prize generation.
Pussification of America is what this illustrates!
Pit Row
That actually doesn't sound so bad.
