Apparently he bent the rules and now has to deal with the repercussions and doesn't like it. Whether or not he likes it or feels it isn't fair doesn't make it legal.
At some point in time people have to learn to live by the rules or pay the penalty. He would have been better off going to his neighbors prior to making the changes and try to work a deal out with them where he could possibly get a change in the zoning or current restrictions and have them be agreeable so that he could use that when applying for the change.
All of you guys on here who blindly agree with anything Reed wants or does look just a silly as he does in this deal.

If it is zoned as agricultural and you get a conditional use permit to do something else then they aren't changing the zoning.
The property will still be zoned as agricultural but they can certainly revoke the conditional use permit......same end result.
Now, I just built a new house on 46 acres that has been in the family since 1985 and the neighbor didn't want me to build because they were using my property for hunting. During the construction process, the environmental inspector showed up, and was expressing his concerns about a MX track being built, because the neighbor knew I raced and knew I had a track at the other house. I told the environmental inspector, without any hesitation, that if they were going to tell me I couldn't ride my motorcycles on my property, or that my sons couldn't ride on my property, then they better lawyer up right fucking now, because I will ride on my property, and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it, legally or otherwise. He knew I was serious, and knew I understood my property rights. After that, I never heard another word about it from him or the asshole neighbor.
Time to stop all of these liberal types who believe they have a right to infringing upon property owners' rights! I own this land and will do with it as I damn we'll please, and if the gov't thinks they can dictate otherwise, they are in for a rude awakening. My attorney and I have already discussed the plan of action if anything comes up again.
Now, I am in the Tallahassee area, not Dade City, which has in the last 10 years or so become as bad South Florida. It sickens me what it's country has become!
Its how he makes a living. And if they (the neighbors) dont like it, they should move. They (the neighbors again) make a living selling flowers or something like that I do believe. What if Chad doesn't like that? Maybe hes allergic to their flowers. Should they be shut down too?
