It's five laps into the first 450 moto and Villopoto is already gone. The guy is in a class by himself at this point and the only hope for everyone else is if a house falls on him. If he wasn't good for a couple of off-days during the season it would not even be a contest. Add in the fact that his Kawasaki is dialed in perfectly for him and it's adios amigos!

I would love to see a battle between him and RC on 450's in both their primes.

This is what happens when Villopoto is in Beast Mode, it's not even a contest for the rest of the competition. He really is in a class of his own, EASILY the Fastest and most Fit rider by a HUGE!! Margin. Hard Combination to beat

There is no doubt that he is in a class all of his own right now but I remember saying the same thing about RC and James at one point.

Poto was making a mockery of this series the 1st Moto at Hangtown but there were people saying "it's early, field is too stacked, etc" I guess some people just don't have the ability to see the writing on the wall and know what it looks like when someone is just hands and fists better than everyone else. I mean does anyone seriously believe that he wasn't going to dominate like this?

He's been on a different planet ever since he jumped on the 2012 bike during the 2011 season.

Gotta give him props but sure makes for some boring racing.

Corners is where he seems to kill 'em in particular.
Keeps the wheel driving in flat corners and just rails the shit out of a berm. He's one with the bike.

AMA 450 series is just a second ranked series compared to the MX1 GP's. Only one skilled guy it seems.

Ahh yes it was a nice cast.. BUT! Hate to spoil the MXdN for you already, but your no.2 defenietly wont finish first. Guaranteed.

But ontopic RV is laying down some serious laps, constantly on the edge.

You're all morans, according to BobbyM the wheels will fall off the RV train and derail his quest for another championship.

Yep. I believe everything Bobby tells us. RV isn't all that fast and he is getting lucky week after week.

Sad when the #2 USA guy has beaten the #1 GP rider every time but once! Silly

Bet a dolla that Dungey shows up next year with a top trainer, no more of this self- training stuff...

I wouldn't say that RV is making a mockery of the Nats, he's just the fastest and he's knows no one can hang with him. That's just the way it is. If someone made up their mind that they were gonna race him, then it would affect him. But no one has risen up yet. Second through fifth is still respectable through, with this field.

Hey Lameass, do you actually believe the stuff you posted, or was that really bait?
Second question, ever heard the expression "Wooden shoes, wooden head, wouldn't listen"? Ponder that, Sparky.

You have to give credit where credit is due. RV's race team has that bike tuned in to perfection every week, and it's obvious. It's the fastest bike out there, ridden by the fastest rider. RV races with confidence, aggression, and intensity, every lap. He doesn't follow someone for 4 or 5 laps to make a pass. If he's there, you're getting passed in 4 or 5 seconds, or less, no matter who you are. Maybe it's the KTM, but I think not. Dungey is the opposite of the things i just said about RV. RD's performance at Unadilla was pathetic. He was 18 seconds behind RV. And in moto 2, he doesn't even get by Weimer, and gets smoked by Barcia. Look what Tomac did today, and tell me which one is a winner. RD's problem is not RV. He will never beat him straight up, and we've seen that already this year. His problem will be trying to maintain 2nd place going forward, with Barcia, and eventually Tomac going after him. He's real fast, but his style of racing, just isn't working. With the new generation coming up, he'll be history sooner than you think. RV will last longer, but go out the champion of his era.

He took all the right lines all day. , practice & both Moto's I watched him from several spots and he was smooth all day
