and that's different to have your wife chase you out of a house, and crash a car into a fire hydrant and then a bunch of random mistress saying yea you got down with them... come on that's just dumb. (and tiger had the wholesome family image which makes things way worse in every aspect)
Jlaws bad press in flipping cars and going to jail is bad....on the flip side .getting into a little scuffle that nobody saw and nobody can get a accurate account of....Is good press.... its called being bad under the radar.... so people think you still have a edge etc.
For instance, Josh hansen has had some bad press...but now hes sponsored by fsas (famous stars and stripes) and a bunch of other company's that revel in his bad body image... hence "Twitch" Jeremy stenberg etc and i could go on and on.
Name one rider who has had consistent bad press that is sponsored well in motocross or supercross? None. Not one.
Because the teams, clothing sponsors, helmets, goggles...all want that rider with a rider who is bad under the radar and has an edge.
When did he say he would be a Budds?
Perhaps you should stop blaming JLaw for the dumb shit you read on here.

That being said- that was my first race in 10+ years and I had an awesome time and I think REM run great events. The track was good fun, motos were long enough, and everyone seemed like good peeps in general. It was a blast and I can't wait to go back.
I had fun
Was it worth it?
Maybe, maybe not.
Pit Row
what a fucking joke.
some of you clowns are just full of hate, pull your fuckin' heads out. pathetic.
I try to invite new guys each year, but some folks, like Ronnie Renner, Andrew Short, Travis Baker, PJ Larsen, Ricky James, Jeremy McGrath and Sarah Price are just so awesome and personable with the kids that I pretty much give them a standing invitation...they're welcome any time.
For the record, I invited Jason Lawrence one year and he came, brought a bunch of shirts and hats, stayed the entire day and was great with the kids. I'd be happy to have him come again. From my experience he's a nice guy with a good heart. He also contributed $5,000 to the Magoo van fund, as someone mentioned. Pretty cool for a guy who was unemployed at the time.
I've also invited Ryan Dungey each of the past four years and haven't received a response that I can recall. The only thing worse than that is guys that flake out at the last minute.
Get a grip dude. I'm sure 99% of the racers this applies to want to win races and championships, not be a sideshow circus act.
I don't think Hansen wanted to be where he is now either, I assume he'd rather be in someone like Chad Reed's shoes. Not everyone can be a champion but to say that riders like Leib, etc should appreciate MXA trashing them for no good reason is fucking stupid.
