Did you look at the weight of the 450? 242 lbs. Ouch!
Same as 2013 and it was the lightest 450 of the bunch, even though they all had 1 muffler. BTW that is curb weight, all oils and full tank of gas.

I don't even believe you that there is one, every time I press "home" on my browser it just takes me back to google. So you're fulloshit.

231lbs curb weight on a 2007 CR250. 11 lbs more, guess it just depends on if the buyer feels it's 11lbs "faster" or "more rideable".

I loose less interest in what the Japanese manufacturers produce every year. On the flip side I'm keen on reading and watching videos of new tm's and ktm's.

Good looking 250. I like how many of the parts are same as 450. Helps us with spares for race weekends. Will be upgrading our 250's as soon as the '14's are in.

It seems like KTM is the only factory that really has its heart in moto/off road, but still there quite a few changes, especially on the 250. I don't know what people are griping about. Some people would bitch if you hung them with a brand new rope.

The 250f just looks like a freakin blast to ride. If I didn't weight 215 pounds that would probably be my next bike. Had a 2006 model (damn that was a long time ago-seemed like yesterday) and I loved it. Couldn't imagine how much better the 2014 is.

You have a home page? Remember when there was a YZ 80, Yz 100, YZ 125? Hard to get excited about $10,000 bikes, that look the same as the 2004 model, bike that i will never be able to afford.
This and motocross action will recommend thousands of dollars of parts you need if your a serious racer and want to win.

Do you know most if not all of the other 450's weigh more?

A 125? How much weight did they drop?

Not enough to make it feel like a 125.

Mass & it's placement are simple facts of chassis dynamics that're lost on tards around here.

Ride one.

Until then?

When did you last ride a 125, for arguments sake?

But anyway all the mass centralization you want wont change the fact that it weighs a lot more than a 125, has more mass higher, more rotating parts and so cant possibly "feel like a 125" other than in terms of its been improved to move in the direction of feeling like a 125.

Now if all manufacturers were developing 125s they would now be feeling more like mtbs :D

Wouldn't the better question have been "When's the last time you rode a 2014 CRF250R?"

This may be my last new bike and I want it to be another Honda because all my Hondas have not nickel dimed me at all and I have had a bunch. I have been holding out on a new bike as well as healing 100% this last year and its close to the longest I have been off a bike and it is tough. I am getting the 2014 unless the ride reviews on it say it sucks then maybe the 13. I hope it is at least as good as the 2013. I just rode my little tricked crf 50 around my little track and man it was most fun in a year. Can't wait to get to ride new 45

when u have over 40 hours on the forks , come back and write the same thing , not that they dont work well ,they do , they just keep giving constan trouble , at a race at the wk end were 3 bike s, seals went and the forks dropped ,two crf s and one kxf , them froks are garbage , know at lest 6 guys who have went out and payed mad money on ohlins internals ,two run springs again , was hopping the 450 changed to SFF ones , in 2014 , or just the old spring ones , which worked great , and were reliable !!

Drop the ridiculous air fork and dual exhausts. Bring back the CR85, 125 and 250.

Hopefully they sell their motorcycle division to Ross Brawn for pennies on the dollar and success and sanity returns to the brand.
Just wait until they put rabbit ears on their bikes Woohoo

right, and you know for a fact that those 3 with failed seals were a result of design and not maintenance neglect, or excessive air pressure, etc etc i.e. owner error ?? Not one of any dirt bike magazine has had seal failures (caveat: that I am aware of) and they punish these bikes harder than most riders and probably rack up a heck of a lot more hours on them than 99% of all owners.

yea i know for a fact, they are all within the 5 best riders in ireland , there is no maintenance neglect , or money spared to get them right , but having to dnf a race cause a seal goes is bad imo, i think a lot of the problem here could be , it s ireland and rains so much , and ur more lightly to bust a seal in mucky weather , i am only sharing what i have seen , i am a honda man ,rode the bike and loved it, its a great bike ,was hoping to buy a 2014 ,but i wont cause of them forks ,i want something reliable ,i am not the only one saying or seeing this , go on to tumper talk and there s pages of pics , with front ends dropped , my point is the old spring froks were just as good if not better , and the only reason KYB came out with air forks is to save money . ps i hav an 08 crf 450 with over 500 hours on it , and have never had one bit of trouble , that one full engine rebuild , two pistons and rings , blew a fork seal every now and then , but it does nt end my day ,
