He said it on the show? No one has dared to asked, but him spontaneously saying so must be a good indication? I was so pessimistic, though his knee would put a nail in the coffin. But he said it! "Preparing for Hangtown!!!"
Damn, if it happens, it will be epic see him dicing with RV!!!
So happy for him (and us).

he is out of the indoors title hunt...
he is in for the outdoors title hunt...
In all seriousness it would be awesome if he makes it to (and through) the outdoor series. I will believe it when I see it though and there is a lot of SX racing left.

This year he has left the smack talk at home and showed up even when things weren't going his way. Again Im glad to see it and I will give respect where it is due. Everyone love a good comback after someone is down on hs luck and James may just be putting one together.
Didn't you get the memo that anyone that criticizes JS is a racist redneck hater? ;-)
Pit Row
You have a torn ACL.
You have no chance of winning the championship.
You continue to race nevertheless, often posting the fastest time in practice.
You are honest and to the point while smiling in most of your interviews.
You have shown character.
Edit: The outdoors championship that is..
Since the beginning of the season James has ALWAYS said he was doing the outdoors. He's talked about it numerous times in different interviews. After the knee injury and when he started to ride back at a decent level again, he confirmed he would be going outdoors for sure, again he talked about this numerous times in different interviews. This wasn't hard to find, in fact it would be difficult for a fan of the sport to have missed the numerous times he said it.
Is James going to fix/rehab his knee? If so, when?
If the knee is the problem in SX, will it be a problem in MX?
Not unless the class of 2008 returns and he can dice with Alessi and Ferry for a couple of laps before pulling away and winning by a minute. Against Villo, RD, Caynard, Barcia etc? Not so much.
Although he is obviously a controversial guy, he continues to race when he's hurt and he is one of the few who has something interesting to say when he is interviewed.
That, and he is just downright amazing to watch outdoors. Counting the days to TGO.
Post a reply to: Stewart doing outdoors then?
