Why are some SO!! anxious to see RV docked Points

You would think that Fans of Supercross would like to see the fastest and most consistent rider win the SX title, but some are SO! hoping to see the current SX Champion have Points taken away from him for a possible Rule infraction that may or may not have absolutely any bearing on the outcome of the race. RV won it fair and square, was the fastest rider and deserved the Win. Villopoto should be awarded 1st place and we'll be rewarded with a more exciting series. RV doesn't have to Cheat to win a race or Championship, but at the speeds they race at and when a rider is concentrating on the Track, it's probably easier to miss a light or flag than you think.

I would say most of us were curious as to what the AMA would do. I don't think they've ever ruled against a rider who had a legitimate chance at the title and when they have they've reversed the call. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well! when the People who write the Rules and interpret the Rules decide the Villopoto did nothing wrong, then be satisfied with that ruling and don't gripe about it.

If you weren't there stfu. First deal could have gone either way. Dungey did the same fucking thing RV did and was not penalized. The pass on Bubba was legit. Those top 5 never let off at all besides rolling the triple. He passed Bubba in a turn after the triple. I'm betting even Bubba would say rv got him straight up tonight. Bubba is a straight shooter unlike some of his fans.

Actually that is not what Bubba is saying, he does say Ryan beat him but doesn't seem happy about the rule enforcement

Even with the TV event videos and the GoPro videos, I'm sure there will be several varying opinions.

The only thing that counts is how they list it in the official results, whether you agree with it/like it or not.

It was the right call by the AMA. They were forced to roll the triple and Villopoto single doubled, passing Alessi in the process. He got lucky and it was redflagged, so they docked him for the restart. They were again forced to roll the other triple while him and Stewart were battling. Stewart passed Villopoto on the turn before the triple, and Villopoto passed Stewart back in the following turn after they both rolled the triple. Great race. You guys are in for a show on CBS tomorrow. I hope they don't screw this one up.

I like RV, but that was one of the softest penalties ever.

I think Bubba tweeted something to the contrary about how some people can pass under Red Cross flags. I agree it is sketchy, but was RV going to be denied over the remaining 10 laps? I can see riders having a serious gripe if that is the ONLY reason he beat them, but the guy went from 6th to 2nd in a few laps while passing some of the fastest guys out there. I wouldn't want to win because the fastest guy got penalized, just as I wouldn't want to win because I cheated. Hope the telecast clears it up instead of all this speculation based on some guy's view from row 20 section c17.

So let me get this straight. If the same rider passes twice diring a redcross flag in the same race, the 2nd time it's ok?

Such a shame, it spoiled the race, would have liked to see some more racing for the win!

I`m more concerned of AMA letting him do it. He knows he won`t be punished and he races accordingly. Anyone in his shoes would do the same.

That pass was crap and he should be docked a position or two. He was gaining momentum AS they passed the yellow flag, as far as I'm concerned they were still under yellow. RV is better than that and would have no doubt passed JS anyway. No need to do a sketchy move like that.

I agree with kongols, if the AMA doesn't say anything, you might as well try it (as long as everything is clear). I think most riders have done this time and time again.

LOL at all the Sandy Vaginas on Sunday morning .

Why was Stewart going so slow ? The down rider was outside of the turn . Stewart was on the inside , clear track ahead of him and he slows down even more .
