You guy's wouldn't know good racing if it bit you in the ass.

I can't ever remember a season since the Hannah, Howerton, Johnson, Bailey years when you didn't have a good idea of who would win every week.

So good racing is absolutely no passing on tracks that are a complete joke? Wow, I am surprised this is coming from someone like Jay!

So the Wardy vs Johnson vs Lechine or Bradshaw vs Stanton vs Bayle years you knew who would win every week? You must be a rich MF'er... please share the winning Mega-Millions numbers.

Holeshot equals win. So fucking epic. Ten guys could win with a start. More race winners then passes total for the season. Perfect storm of follow of the leader. I'll take RC battling with James and Reedy all day over this year of awful.

what about the 92, 98, and 2000 seasons? its not because we don't have two strokes the racing is better.....its because we don't have one guy that is head and tails above everyone else. They are right, whoever gets the whole shot just has to not over ride his over powered four banger and they have got it.

It makes as much sense as people saying the racing sucks.

Maybe what you're seeing on TV sucks. What's happening at the races doesn't suck.

Making the bikes easier and easier to ride is the best! Pretty soon we can dumb down the tracks so it is RV vs some guy with an office job.....who knows who will win, so rad!

Really?

The gaps back then were due to the fact that there were only a couple riders who could go the pace...

There are at least 8-10 riders now who are really close... But there is no passing...

They would pass and be safer doing it going a fraction slower and scrapping a bit on a two stroke rather than trying to do mach10 on a 4 stroke.

Somebody needs to invent a 3 stroke so we would get the best of both worlds.

Crush nailed it!

All the talent we have on the line ( most in many , many years ).......and no passing takes place. It does....but very little.

Blatant fishing thread......why is it even here?

Supercross is boring because 8-10 guys could win?

What next, you going to try and tell me that the Euros are as fast as Americans too?

First off, welcome back Jay.
Second off, the series is far from boring.
Third off, good one flan add.

A summary of 2013 Supercross.

This was awesome. Laughed my head off.

Seriously though, I remember '97 as being a very good year. Anyone could win and there was a bunch of passing at several rounds. I was excited about this season coming in, but I will say that I'm a little dissappointed that there really isn't much passing at all.

I watched a few old '96 races and noticed that tracks back then had jumps that were a little sharper and sent the bikes more upward than forward. The whoops where much narlier too.

I don't think the whoops were bigger in 96, but they were in early 2000's for sure. Scary big at times.

Actually dumbass, you said Hannah, Howerton, Johnson, Bailey... how exactly does that include Stanton, Bradshaw, and Bayle? Perhaps you should comprehend exactly what you are typing before you go pointing fingers. But instead, you choose to be deliberately obtuse.

Now... by your logic, you've basically included the late 70's and the 80's. If we add the Bradshaw/Bayle years, we now have to 90's. I think people would agree the 2000's were pretty damn awesome too. So your argument is not only invalid, but it continues to prove you are a moron.

Good day sir.

I imagine you'll have the same outcome putting these guys on tracks from the past. . . The holeshot separates the pack giving the front runner the benefit of the race. The Arenacross series has made it somewhat interesting with the two MOTO mains making the leader start on the back line in the second MOTO. . . Not saying that's the answer, but could it be? If you put the fast guys on the back line, you force them to make passes and you guys will be forced to bitch about something else.
