"I'm a Doctor!"
I understand how you can get annoyed with vital posters at times and I normally would agree with you. However when you are talking about concussions it is a very serious deal and if there can't be a discussion regarding concussions that is a sad state. I am sure you can understand why some people have the opinion they do in regards to that crash and you should be able to respect that as I respect your opinion. Since you are poking fun at the posters here on vital I would expect you to tell Chad Reed and Jason Thomas that there opinion is a joke as well. Anyways my two cents which means very little in the grand scheme of things
If Zach Bell should not have continued, neither should he have at Millville where he laid motionless for the same amount of time.
The point is, EVERYONE can have an opinion and that's cool, but unless you were the one to get to him, assess him and know exactly why he was cleared to ride..... It is wrong to say the wrong decision was made from what you only saw on TV or from the sideline.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
And, I should have been more clear. I was not talking specifically about you when I mentioned "It is wrong to say the wrong decision was made from what you only saw on TV or from the sideline." - I meant that for the others that have commented.
And maybe this isn't a big dark conspiracy against the medical team. Maybe these people are saying that between what everyone saw in the violence of that crash it would have been best for the group around him to stop him from riding again.
And maybe those of us on Vital MX who bring decades of racing experience as riders and fans, don't appreciate at all being insulted by fanatics who apparently have egos run amok and the establishment to defend tell us that despite seeing with our own eyes in HD a kid fall on his head from some 20 feet in the air while flying forward, it isn't possible the kid was knocked out because the kid said so on Twitter and the medical team that arrived at his side after some time had passed said so.
Nah. I'm sure all those people are just "wrong" because you say they are wrong and WANT them to be wrong.
Carry on. It's pretty obvious there is nothing anyone can say to you at this point that would make any difference. On a separate note, I can't wait to tell the 30+ year ER doc who watched the crash with me that he has been labeled a "Holliday Inn Express" case for saying there was no way he would have let his kid-or any rider-back out racing that night.
As far as discussion, there's no shortage of it. I just think some of it happens to be as valuable as the opinion of someone who stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
For the record, I stayed at the Park Inn in Irving.
I agree 100% that the medical team in play at the races are top notch, but I also agree that it was a poor decision to let the kid race. He wasn't just laying there to catch his breath, he was knocked the **** out.
It is what is is though, nothing can be done now. I am just glad he walked off healthy, when he hit the dirt I got sick to my stomach; I thought the kid was dead.
Just my opinion.
it is also nice to know that I no longer need to use google or yahoo as search engines for answers....vitalmx is one stop shopping to say the least.
Pit Row
So here, you start a thread that blatantly mocks a good number of board members who happen to be on one side of a recent controversy (apparently the wrong side based on this thread's message). So, I guess these Holiday Inn Express vids should be considered "quality" stuff deserving of it's own thread or did that bar just drop a bit?
We are debating this so strong because the result will advance the safety of the sport.
