1991 with non-US plastic. The US versions had white side number plates and rad shrouds. The actual US factory bikes also ran alternate colored seats.

I wonder if this was a bike for the SX in Japan?

You can see the factory 91 US Suzuki colors on the bike in the background...

I don't recall them running all yellow in US SX but it's quite possible.

Unlikely. I think "s" may indicate "special," or it's just a typo. Suzuki works bikes, like the ones likely to be raced at the Osaka Supercross, were designated "RA." (RA250, RA125, etc.)

Maybe the poor guy is cross eyed or something.....puts stickers on backwards, installs motors backwards. The entire industry thought it was a revolutionary new design when in reality it was nothing more than a googly eyed mechanic fucking normal shit up.

These 1991 RM's were raced just like the picture. I went to Anaheim that year and the radiator shrouds, side panels and fenders were all "Flo" yellow....I think it only lasted a couple races? The Honda's and Kawasaki s were also decked out with Florescent plastic and it really stood out under the lights as I remember. I also remember Larocco coming out during opening ceremonies and over jumping a triple to flat ground and hurting his wrist. He pulled out of racing that night because of itDizzy These 91's are still my favorite bike design of all time...to most they are fugly but I loved them.

Well, given that the sticky stuff is on one side, his only option was putting it on upside down, which would be a real faux pas.

Sad Had the 92 rm250. Someone stole that one from me, bummer. It lacked the power of the Honda. It was easy to work on. Had the bills pipe, that added a little extra power. OK bike.Sad Unsure Unsure Sad Sad

This is where I was going with that:
"When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window, the flag should be displayed in the same way, with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street."

If didn't say "against a wall", I'd be thumping my chest. Hahaha

The only info I really have is I'm pretty sure (almost positive) that has an Acerbis front rotor guard on it. Maybe they could've advertised it just a little clearer though.

Lol

It has something to do with leading with the union. If the flag is on a car (or bike), the blue union is always to be going forward. If the flag were on Bubba's bike, it'd have to be on a spinner. Hahaha.

I don't know where I learned that and I can't find specific info on the www.

Interesting thing is the RMX still had blue as a secondary color (as does yours in the picture). The graphics, frame, and seat were blue versions of the 91 MX graphics.

I remember wishing I could get the 2 tone blue RMX style seat for my 80's because I liked the blue much more than the yellow/grey.

I had a '91 RMX250, in 2006, less the lights and speedo. My first motocross bike. It was a severely neglected pile of crap. Literally everything broke once I started putting a couple hours on it. Rebuilt the thing, put on an FMF pipe, and it was very fast, It just wouldn't turn very well.
