Seems like we have a changing of the guard in AMA SX. Exciting times, but a little sad to see guys like Reed, Villopoto and Stewart struggling in the pack and not coming through quicker. Imagine when Tomac and Roczen move up to the 450cc class.

Motocross Illustrated, think you might have blown your beans a little early here. Of course you could be right, but only time will tell.

Reed and Stewart are clinging on still because they are two of the greatest ever, but times are changing, the youngsters are coming! Great time for SX since the old, the present and the future are all racing together right now and all competitive.
LOL, brilliant.. Recent John Cleese interview after an expensive divorce. "at least I know my next wife won't be after me for my money".

Parity? Nice to know that there are so many with a legitimate shot at a win.
Entertaining? Abso#%!?inglutely!
RV - fastest out there when it comes down to it, but the guy is riding like a maniac (not always good). He will probably win the most races, but I dnt think he will win the title riding like this. It is okay to settle for a 2nd or 3rd...or with this field a 5th. Ya, I know he is out there to win, but a 5th is better than crashing two more times for 16th.
Reed - I think it could be setup, it could be he is at that point where he isnt willing to push it. Im fearing and hoping its not the later, but thats what I truly think it is. He has 2 kids now and his health, and let be honest he's lucky to have his health after his last two big crashes, both were pretty crazy. Maybe he has reached that point. I hope not, but we will see as the season rolls on.
Stewart - he's hurt plain and simple. Would have been nice to see him get Weimer, but the fact that he is ridng with a torn ACL (my guess) is impressive. Ive done it before and its not fun, of course I was going way slower too.
