......I just watched the race again last night, and that dude does NOT deserve your criticism.

He was on the back of Villo and stayed there within a few seconds the whole ten laps until the tuft lock slammed him into the face of that jump. The dude was doing work and doing well.

I think he will be fine this weekend. Go Broc! Smile

Who bagged on his performance after the race? Granted, he didn't get as much credit as would have been the case if Stewart had crashed him out.

Completely agree, I read some pretty negative comments on here about how he doesn't deserve the ride and can't handle the pressure and what not, complete bullshit. Carmichael said in the broadcast that he needed latch onto Villopoto and move forward with him, and thats exactly what he was doing before the crash.

I didn't expect Tickle to be drastically improved in supercross compared to his results last year. I do think he is going to be a consistent podium contender outdoors, even if everybody is healthy.

and yes, during the race thread there was some haters on broc saying he didnt deserve that ride. in the long haul tickle is a good buy for any team. fast, endurance is outstanding and professional. if he gets speed in supercross he's gonna be a sponsors dream.

I'm a Broc Tickle fan, no question about it. Guys like him and Chiz put in the work and let their riding and results do the talking. Sometimes, he's in the dark (he does have to work on starts) but then you watch him at Unadilla last year and he was sticking with Dungey's pace as he was catching him. That's when people notice him and they go, "Wow. Where's this guy been?" You can find more guys like him now than twenty years ago but he's still a shining example of a guy who keeps his nose clean and to him, the only thing that matters is how he performs on the track which is what you're trying to showcase in the first place. And actually, even though he comes across as a quiet machine, he's a really funny guy off the track. Nothing but respect for him.

What makes me laugh the most is that those people most forget that he is being trained by the MAN himself, no one is ever going to have a better trainer then tickle does.. What other riding trainer do you know that has better statistics then Carmichael...?? Exactly.
