you really have to meet someone in person before you can call one out.
ive met engine ice dave in person, and he is about as real as it gets.
at one time, we had sort of a contest, on who could do the most for the other (he won).
he has set me up with pit passes to races I was able to attend, pit passes for Arca races, and I could go on and on.
when hurricane ivan hit our city, he kept offering to send me anything i needed since life in our city came to a grinding halt for about 10 days.
he checks out all of the up and coming talent and does all he can for them. it means a lot to the racing families when they meet dave at the races, and he remembers them.
he is always joining in on this groups collateral projects (no matter how they turn out)
he is always hosting the sx chats.
he was a friend to me before i decided to get married and ruin my life, and he is a friend to me during this nasty divorce im going through.
everytime he comes into my area, we get together for some good ole bench racing and have a blast.
dave's background goes way back in florida mx racing. he was a member and active in the now defunct National Motorcycle League .... that organization helped bring florida mx to the next level back in the 70's.
i had him in the booth at our local track as a guest announcer and he had the crowd going. then he sets up the engine ice van and took time for everyone that came by and wanted to see what he was all about. that was an impromptu deal he set up on the fly, since his main reason for coming to town was to work the Arca races.
i could go on and on, but you get the picture. im proud to have dave as an aquaitance and a friend.
yeah .... you really need to meet someone in person before you call them out. just sayin.
thanks, dave, you alright.

If you still think you're right, go back and read the feed back from all the people taking the time to give you information. Most of us have known the people you reference for a while.
Dave is a good guy, on and off the internet. You are wrong.
Maybe go back to lurking, or just stick to general information instead of calling people out...
I recommend he return to his proven expertise.
First, if you have not figured out that the "noob thing" is in good fun while serving a purpose, I can't help that.
Second, you stated that I am not alone in this, yet you single me out.
Third, while I don't hide my identity, I don't promote it either. I am on here as "me," not my company.
Fourth, thanks to Matt, SC and the others who backed me up while I was sleeping
and finally, Foo...you're getting a divorce? Bummer (or maybe not). This is who I met in Atlanta when you guys crashed the truck, right?
Oh, and let me add, one thing most figure out is that I am the first guy to offer to step up and help whenever I can. Much of it things no one hears about.
The internet is for fun, it's not real life
Maybe you need to realize that before you logon
Have a great day and a nice weekend
Pit Row
Oh but he is fat.
As far as post counts...I do believe that many were carried over from Motodrive.
Oh yeah, one more thing...it's "you're" when you mean "you are".
Folks like you and mcfluffy show up around here and think you are better than the crowd. Well we are the crowd. Everyone is the crowd. Dave's been here a lot longer than I have and I've been around since '02 or earlier.
So in short, if you don't like the hazing or the bashing, or the pushing and shoving you see/get then get out. That's the function of said hazing.
Besides, Dave's got the best chicken in Hurrican Mills, TN. And he gave me a T-shirt. So there.
