What tool do I need to measure how high my piston is over the cylinder bore in .001's? I presume a caliper will work for the circumference? Thanks Brent

Thanks. So it might be just as easy and cost effective to just send the shop my motor and cylinder head and let them measure and fix it?

id like to clarify one thing: obama didnt end the war in iraq. the contract that the govt wrote for that campaign was called logcap III. this contract with military was from 2003 to 2008, a 5 year contract with a possible 3 year extension to august 2011. when did obama "end" the war? wow! august 2011!! what a coincidence...

the guy im building it for doesnt ride all that much and its for his younger son. so we are going to keep it stock for now. i will look revititup and see what they got. im about to bid on a kit for an 01 ...we will see how it goes... brent

thanks scooter. ive been pouring over ebay and craigslist and the ones ive found are just the cylinder with no head, power valves, piston or studs...so im having to piecemeal it and its getting expensive that way. i will just keep looking and waiting. i know there is one out there... brent

i doubt we've met. im probably not who you think i am. and i understand what youre saying. its ford vs chevy. didnt mean to come off sounding like a rant. but i still like to hear why people buy into apple. its interesting to hear the different viewpoints even if they dont coincide with mine.

with 70 to 80% of our oil coming from south america and mexico, why does it matter what iran does? serious question... brent

as far as i know dell ram will only work in dell machines. but dont quote me on that. but the motherboard is setup to utilize the high memory on the fastest module in whatever first slot it is in. so you would never really see a difference anyway as the 3200 would probably not be utilized for much of...

2 stroke...just finished my 05 CR125 project...cost me $105 for a complete top end kit plus $8 for oil...already had Engine Ice....graphics will be next month.
