....just was reading Monday kickstart @TWMX

In other news (more so in the gossip & rumor category), we've heard from sources that JGR has released James Stewart from his contract. Word is, Stewart may contest the outdoor motocross championship aboard a Suzuki.

SARCASM ALERT:
Of coarse they wrote that. All of the major rags get their scoop from Vital and that's been old news around here for hours!

Weird.
I thought the only reason they didn't have the display bike out is because nobody recognizes it unless its flipping through the tough blocks.

BTW, when I clicked on this thread I expected to see an official press release based on your title. It should have been a bit more accurate. This is nothing more than TW repeating "gossip and rumor"

I hope it happens. I am far from a stewart fan, but it's not hard to see that he isn't comfortable. I hope it works out for him.

JGR should consider a new brand of bike. They made the one biggest mistake they ever could have when they had JS on a bike he knew he hated. I will go on record here and say that JGR will never see a number 1 plate on the door of the trailer.

Unless they enter some 250 guys.

I think they Jumped in to the big boy class way to soon.

Ya because Millsaps podiums surely demonstrate they are not ready for the 450's. ITS NOT THE BIKE! It's James, his dad and his entire program...or lack of.

will be interesting.

if James wins on the suzuki, then it makes yamaha look really bad. if he continues crashing as often as he has been and doesn't turn his career around like some here think he will, then it looks really bad for him.

i suppose we will see what happens when it happens

I don't see how that would work. The 2 fiercest rivals who have a history of crashing each other into oblivion will somehow find a way to work together while one of them is the others boss? Seems like an impossible situation to me. The only thing they have in common is their hatred of all things Larry Brooks.

rest assured JGR will communicate when it is time........until then all speculation (see Kyle Busch - Nov 2011).........

whatever MFG or team JS goes with is totally in a win - win............does good, it's the team, the bike, the program..........does bad it's JS7 (see Pourcel - June 2011)............

If it happens either jgr will be out quite a bit of money or Stewart will, one half is going to be unhappy. I thought suzuki was broke? How could they afford stewart?

I agree.

And I will be super stoked if he gets on a Zook and we see the old Bubba back!

Run 259, race the Nationals, and start dancing again!

It's amazing how someone's love for/ against a rider can blind them from the obvious. Who's fault would it be if James didn't win on another brand? Would it be the bike again? Would it be his team? How about his gear? Or maybe injuries?

Eventually, people need to wake up and realize that James Stewart is human, and always has been. There's no doubt that he is a fast sob, and on some days, he's the fastest guy out there, but not every day. I don't think think James has got slower, but the rest of the field has got faster, which has rattled him to the point of making mistakes. Blame JGR and Yamaha all you want, but at the end of the day, it's all on James.

Push yourself away from the crack kid. I'm a James fan, but he has nothing for Ryan.

James racing half a sx season and no outdoors last year, all the sudden he is going to jump on a new bike and put it to Poto? NFW.

I think Stewart needs to take a page from the "Windham Book of Wisdom" and take some time off and find himself again. Being burned out and not loving what you truly love gets you where he is right now.
