Sorry, just drunk on New Years Eve and don't give a shit
You just must have missed this part of his post
For comparison sakes, go to banned CR500riders.com, visit the AF section. Hit the Stoffers Racing sticky, he has pics of his work. Doesn't weld them himself, and openly says so, but check out THAT workmanship. CNC made mounts, etc:. THAT"S how the job is done properly! Slip, he's the guy I recommended to you. With good reason.
I was referring to Paul Stoffers, not MPS.
Here is Ians website and he helps out a ton of local NW moto dudes and sells some of his stuff to some really good race teams..>>>>> http://www.irp-llc.com/
Here is a write up here on Vital about his clicker system too >> http://www.vitalmx.com/product/feature/IRP-Clickers,2467
I've known Ian a long time......and I kid you not , he is the nest machinist I have ever seen.
BTW........Holy hell , I am in complete awe by looking at those pics you put up. I would of sued him for a new frame if it was me. That's complete bullshit.
1. MIKEY: Yes I drive, and I own my own truck, leased to a company in Alberta hauling crude oil.
2. Steven: Enjoy, it's New Years. Tomorrow, hopefully you'll give a shit. About the hangover you'll have.
3. Hando: I've asked myself that numerous times, and I guess all I can say is, despite my misgivings on this, I wanted an AF. I was prepared to put up with a little aggravation to get that bike. George is not the first person I've done business with that I didn't necessarily like, but it went the way it did. I doubt he will be the LAST, either. Had I had ANY idea the quality would suck so bad, the deal would never have happened. Should have let rationale override emotion, I guess.
4. Thanks jeffro, I'll check out his site later today when I'm out of bed. Where I'll be shortly. Lol. Met Paul just under 2 years ago, chatted on the phone with him last week. Super cool guy. Plenty of guys out there who do quality work in their garage. Monsieur George Fellatio isn't one of them.
5. mynewcr: Lol. Exactly.
On the upside, I can use this experience to let others know in advance to avoid the mans work. Maybe this will save someone a serious injury.
Happy New Year, lads. I'm out. (and sober)
Cheers from Sweden!

What I'm thinking is that the '04 LE would be a good ride for our local vintage club's decade class in 2014. I haven't ridden a CR500 since 1987 and that bike was a top fuel dragster that pumped my arms in one lap. Riding it like a 125 definitely wasn't the hot set-up. My riding style has changed since then. I tend to short shift and lug my bikes after 10 years on 450's, so I think a 500 might work for me now.
BTW, I'm going to take a look at the '04 CR500AF LE this afternoon. The owner says he has all the original white plastic/seat that are in excellent shape. I'll post some pics if I bring it home.
This is a old image, and they have cleaned up their program a bit.... but they still build them the same crappy way.
This is a example of how Paul Stoffers builds them
I'm Bob, and I own www.bannedcr500riders.com and have built A/F conversions personally, and have overseen many others..... Paul is the only guy I can recommend. Full cradle replacement, quality hardware and welding.... all done in house.
I remember years ago when MPS first started. They would put rags over their welds and hardware on the eBay auctions saying they were hiding their " propritary hardware and assembly methods". Nope, they were hiding crap, and here they are years later and still cant build a quality bike.
Too bad, so sad.......
Do people know that the pictures you are showing are really the before frame or the altered frame. You have stated on other sites that you did not have time to take pictures of the frame George did for you before you had somebody modify his work. So now you are posting pictrues of your modified frame that has seen several hands since George has last worked on it.
Now I have had my problems with Goeorge but he has always picked up the phone and made it right. Do people know here that this crusade you have with George is over three years old.
Do people here know that he has made multiple atempts to make this right with you, but you choose to do this. If you were in the United States could be liable for slander and defermation of charachter. If you were to loose your case you would have to pay george for every last sale you have costed his company and the profit and overhead associated with his loss.
In the Untied States you have to either let a contactor fix their mistakes before you can hold them liable. You sir have not done this, and it has been offered to you.
Just let it go.
BTW, all the SH welds looked excellent.
Post a reply to: Since it needs no further introduction, I give you the MPS masterpiece:
