You really ought to get your facts straight before you open your mouth. The fact is that I am not nor have I or anybody in my family sued anybody. Gene, who is my future son in law, is. For the record for the 100th time I do not support what he is doing in regards to the track. As you can prob imagine his actions have created quite a problem for my immediate family.
Wasn't there an issue at some point between your family and Scott Simon or was it Champion?

Maybe he was referring to that?

I can't wait to "boo" at Vince every lap he makes at A1.

Thanks, mom!

Allison, thank you for the kind words and the wonderful advice. For the record I am very sure that you offered 6 figures to a team to take your basket case. Threaten me all you want. Friese us a POS and should not be allowed to hold a license to race a motorcycle. That's my opinion and many others on this board and professional racers. I told him to his face as he threatened my son the same thing I'll tell you..... He is a hazard to the sport and has no business on a motocross or SX track. Sue me!

Scott Simon is a good friend. Champion intentionally t-boned my son breaking his leg requiring 14 screws and 2 plates. Many witnesses there in Jan 4th 2008 saw it. I did pressure the DA to file criminal charges which Champion is very aware of. There was no legal action on our part. Friese and Champion are the only two riders that we have had problems with in 13 plus years of racing. As a father of a racer and having been involved in this sort since I was 15 I am passionate about safety. I will not stand for actions on the track that endanger any rider. I wish there were more people in the sport that took more of a stance on this issue.

So, somewhat back on topic - Is VF still doing Arenacross this year, or with this new "sponsorship" will he be doing SX ? East/West/450 ?

Don't any of you effin turds wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas" on here realize you are being insensitive retards? It's "Happy Holidays" you ignorant illegal aliens! Off to polish the menorah.... Whistling

That chick--MX Manager--is surely hitting the bong too frequently..."chill out people, peace, love dove...you're harshin my mellow...we all have choices to make...what are you going to chose? Harmony and unity or hostility and division?" bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble Blink

SOOOO this has turned into a very entertaining thread "and everything," BUT...is VF paying to race, or not? What's the consensus?

If I don't get an answer quickly--and it better be the complete truth--ALL of you will be hearing from my lawyers. You know that "withholding information" and "obstructing justice" are serious charges, right? You will be spending significant time in the pokey...you'll see.

i would imagine there are two sides to this story. i dont think some one in youre position should be accusing people on a message board. i admire your gusto but you do come across as an overly protective mini dad. everyone is too serious these days. more milestone hooker and moto babes!!!!!

My GF is a attorney and one of her specialties is Internet defamation.

Gotta watch what you say to some degree but there is also a thing called the First Amendment. Both come into play.

Depends - if there are real damages then you can make a case, but a lot of her clients are actually looking to find out the identity of anonymous posters - then they decide what to do next! (and no I'm not a lawyer).

In this instance we seem to know the identity of both parties already.

Can u sue a Swedish "a-hole" from US? Heck! If you gonna sue someone in Sweden you need a REAL good case. And if you win you probably get 1000 dollars. People spend years in jail incorrect and get's dimes only. There is no way in hell you can sue anyone for hot coffe from Mcdonalds, or offending anyone by telling him he's a jerk. Freaki'n childabusers has to pay 10 000 at most (they should be shot in my opinion). So what does your GF says about foregners?

The pissing match continues to go on.

IMPO, both parties (not the riders) should put a sock in it and let the riders take care of it on the track.

And Don. We all know you don't like Vince, but you should take the first part of Vince's agents advise to heart.

Mr Lieb take my 25 years of industry advice. Focus on the brilliance of your son and your great product. You do not have to blow out another's candlelight in order to shine yourself. You will find greatness in belief but you will find nothing but sadness in attack. Live love and laugh and enjoy the ride.

The quality and professionalism of this "Agent" is a direct correlation to the quality and moral character of the rider being represented.

Looks like they are made for each other. Where is the Lysol, this trash really stinks.

I understand that Don is not the one who has put a lawsuit into place. But it was one of his crew that did.

As I have said earlier, he should lay low and let this issue die, and continuing to play attack dog in the internet is making him and his company not fair so well in the industry. His son is a big boy (and a very good rider at that) and it's time for daddy and the posse to let Michael address any issues with other riders by him self, on the track.

Bandwagons are over rated, and some here need to think before jumping on one.

All I know, is Rocket Exhaust needs to make a carbon two-stroke silencer. Like Bud, but made in America, and available.

I'll take the first one for coming up with the idea. Don, get them ready before the two-stroke nationals this year.
