Being fair, the track was different (dried out noticeably) between the 1st and 2nd motos, and on top of that Tomac ran a 2:36 in practice.

Yep, however everyone knows the track gets rougher and slower as the day goes on. It was slower from practice to moto 1 and then from moto 1 to moto 2. Just the way it works, but they were both about the same pace.

Hmm from this thread.. it looks like the future of vital mx will be... BB fans vs tomac fans.

Kinda like RV2 vs Js7 vs cr22 fan fiasco we will see in late December

Count me in for the tomac wagon, i will be steering that bitch lol

fact is ET has and does have a problem in the heat, why his dad thinks staying in Co is a good idea is a mystery.

Anyone who watched that first moto that thinks BB wouldn't have won, even if Tomac had gotten the holeshot isn't being honest with them selves. BB excelled everytime the heat was an issue and you had to have endurance.

BB is the badass.
One word Texas...go back look at temps and watch that race- Colorado is the training ground for many mma fighters due to elevations and the fact that it increases the oxygeon levelin blood its almost like legal doping- Last year he fatigued more because hes is a kid (how old is he this year 18?) most endurance athletes are in their 40's. Bagget had a huge lead tomac threw down and closed a 6 second gap in 109 degree weather on a small bike 40 lbs heavier....its a bit too early for your analogy IMO. Bagget rode great but your not giving that big ass kid Tomac the credit he deserves- he was squeezing out all the ponies on that 250f- and he's only getting better each season

Yeah.....seems that certain riders get a fan base which are willing to throw down their own lives to protect their favorite riders......on a message board. Blink

They're all my favorites to be honest. Most are good dudes that compete at the highest level in the sport we all love......but just normal dudes......that can ride a bike fast.

Out of doing this sport for over 30 years.....i found it much more enjoyable to be fan of all of them.......and a fan of the sport itself. Not just the riders ( or one rider ) , but the teams ,. managers like Roger and so forth.....and that goes for all the dudes competing across the pond.........enjoying this sport ........and hating it when a rider gets injured.

You ever notice that when the "Fantards" disappear.......it's because their favorite rider isn't racing. Must suck to have all your faith in just one rider. It would ruin the sport for me personally. Kinda sad.

Seems to me like he might have landed hard off something and got sweat on his goggle lens. Just judging from how he pulled a tear off right before he threw the goggles

.Must have been hot as fk out there. I'm amazed by how the guys ride such long motos in the sun at washougal at the pace they do every year while I'm practically dying just sitting on the sidelines.
