hardly even a rumor can be found! With basically everyone else declared for 2013, why is suzuki so late to the party? ground up redesign perhaps? ooh the suspense..................................................

Was it 2010 that they almost didn't even offer a bike?

Yes. I bought a new GSX-R1000 the summer of 2010 and had to get an '09 because 2010s didn't exist.

I could see a few revisions on the 450 & a little more power & rev on the 250.

But, I could be wrong...

dont fix it if it ain't broke

look at it this way, it means more parts on the market

if i was going to buy a 250F i would go with e YZ250F solely for the fact that the motor is essentially the same design as it was in 2001..oh..and its RELIABLE!

there are soo many parts for that bike on ebay..perfect race bike IMO.

Sad but this is a real possibility as well. I suppose a redesign that fared poorly could be more costly.....Then again its usually rave reviews ( ala 09 crf and 10 yzf) until the sales season is well under way. Then the truth comes out lol i bet 09 crf and 2010 yzf sales were pretty decent .....

Shocking that Suzuki even exists in the world of motocross. Proof that what wins at the top level does not produce sales. All the years of RC's domination, Reeds titles, Dungey's titles, and now Stewart and they can't out sell any other mcf. Big problems on the mx side of that company. Zero Suzuki dealers within 70 miles of me. It's a shame because they make a damn fine product and are a big part of the history of this sport.

Perhaps they could do more than BNG (yamaha) with bold new plastics...

The rumor I heard was they had originally added a ground breaking new WHITE rear fender... But after reading the comments on Vital, decided against it and are in the process of correcting their mistake... just a rumor, not sure how much truth there is to it...

I was in my brothers shop last week. His Suzuki rep was there and I asked him about the new RMZ's.
He was kinda vague to me, but had told my brother before I got there to expect big changes to the 250 and some to the 450.
So take that for what it's worth.
He said we may see them this week.

History? It's becoming more and more obvious that the history of the sports means less and less each year. Damn shame. If the history of the sport meant anything to the mfgs. and the AMA, we'd still have a 125 class. They realized their mistake early on yet did nothing to correct it. A decade later, they still do nothing.

Based on the bikes being raced by the factories themselves in the Japanese National series it looks like very little changes from Suzuki for 2013.

The bikes usually last 3-4 years without direction changes in the global crisis and beyond. The RMZ are new since 2010. 3 years unchanged. 2013 remain the same as the yamaha that last 4 years.

Radical change in 2014

Good to see you are still around Paul. How is the Jeep running?

Considering that the photoshop on those wheels is piss-poor, I'd suggest you don't hold your breath.

Hey Erik! Was just thinking about you the other day as I contemplated getting myself a 2012 Wrangler! LOL!

The Jeep is awesome! My wife absolutely loves driving it... and admittedly, I do too! I would love to have my own, but I know for sure I would miss having my full size truck. She's been after me to install a lift and bigger tires. I guess she wants to look cool pulling into the Mall parking lot and nail salon... LOL! Hey, I just think it's pretty cool she wants it lifted!

It's a blast being able to pop the doors off in just a few minutes... same with the top... my daughter begs me nearly every weekend to strip the Jeep down... unfortunately, getting into summer, it's not a great idea. Although, taking the doors off and leaving the top on is a decent compromise.

When did you move to AL? Are you no longer with Fiat, umm, I mean Chrysler, umm, I mean Jeep? haha

I have also been wondering when the details of the 2013 RMZ's will be released. I am a lifetime Suzuki rider and have been trying to decide whether I should upgrade my 2011 450 when the new model comes out.

The picture of that RM125 in the latest 250F frame is photoshopped BTW. Someone did build a bike that looked like that, but it was not Suzuki.

Yoshitaka Atsuta's Japanese National's bike:

Clement Desalle's GP bike:

James Stewart's U.S National's bike:

I heard they turn left very very well and Herlings was going to Suzuki for 2013 to make sure he can turn even more left in right hand corners Tongue

You must not have gotten the memo. "No one's interested".
