Nicest pro you have met?

Broc Glover used to be a semi-regular customer at the restaurant I used to work at, so I got to talk to him at length 3 - 4 times. He's a really good guy, he even took time out of eating his dinner to chat with me.
I met RJ at Barona Oaks when I was a kid, but he seemed more interested in watching Mike Craig slap the shit out of the 80 experts than in talking to a bunch of kids. He wasn't rude or mean, he just had his mind elsewhere.

Carlos Serrano.... Nicest guy, will talk to anyone, and helps out A LOT of us kids in Southern AZ.

Never forgot his NorCal roots and we'd talk about a lot during my years wrenching for another NorCal Pro he also knew. Didn't change when he got a factory ride as others did. Same Steve; approachable, talked and always friendly; never treated anyone as an annoyance or with any disrespect.
Class man, consumate professional and a very upstanding human being.

Spud "Brian" Walters. Always a cool guy. Got hurt early in Pro Nat. career, quit, came back and was rather successful, but not like he possibly would've been if not injured.

Jim Pomeroy.
Use to stop by at the local Sacramento Bultaco shop(B&T) when in town after his Pro career ended. He could talk your ear off, but really a super enthusiatic guy about moto always. Fun conversations we all had with him when I was a regular there for many, many years. RIP Bimbo. My fav rider as a kid(rode Bultacos).

Met Travis Preston at a campground in Mammoth one year. We were lucky enough to be randomly parked right next to him and his gf and he actually came over to us to talk once he saw our bikes. It was pretty cool of him and my brother ended up beating him at some ATV game for Playstation 2

three years ago when i was 17, it was just after I got hurt (I broke my neck and became paralyzed from while I was practicing for a race i landed real sloppy off a triple and going over the bars on my 125, well thats the short story) I got a chance to meet a few pro riders at the las vegas supercross. It was my first time out to a race since I had barely gotten out of the hospital just a few weeks before, let me tell you, its a wierd feeling going back to a race for the first time in your wheelchair.

My dad had run into Jaimie Little playing golf and were talking about my accident, she told us to meet up with her in the pits before the race and she took us to meet quite a few riders. When we met RC, he dropped everything to come talk to us, even when Decoster and his mechanics were trying to get him to come over because they were obviously in a huge rush, he told them to hold on. He was really nice and down to earth and talked for a bit, not just take a picture and leave like the other riders we met.

She had also gotten me some posters etc. from pontiac supercross a few weeks before, she said that after the race when she told RC about my accident he took the jersey right off his back signed it and gave it to her, now its hanging on my wall.

Sorry about the little name drop here and there, but i just thought this was a cool story that made my day after first trying to deal with this new injury to show what a class act RC is, especially after him getting a bad rep for being all business and not taking time out for the fans

believe it or not Tyler Evans is one of the nicest people you can meet in the pits. Michael Byrne is really cool as well, even gave me a few jerseys

I saw Greg Schnell at the Orlando SX walking back to the pits after practice and I asked him what the track was like, he stopped and talked to me and my brother for 10 minutes about the track.

I've met K-dub a few times and he was always cool. Once I was in line to get Pastrana's autograph and the line was hundreds long so when they (his mom, lol) made him stop signing so he could get ready for his qualifier, he came out from under the tent and went down the line and shook everyone's hand. He even signed a few things walking down the line for the people that asked him.

The nicest rider you would have ever met was Goerge Holland.

Flat track would defenetly be Springer,I have one of his helmets back when he rode for factory Harley Davidson super cool dude for sure.Ricky Graham was always cool to and I have a few things that I cherish from him aswell.

I've watched RC, Jason Thomas and James and Timmy Ferry grow up at the races here in FL. And they are all great guys. Nicest was Bad Brad Lackey at a vintage race down here.

Definitely TP, Doug Henry, and Stephane Roncada. Those guys were all class acts when it came to taking care of their fans. Other nice riders have been MC, RC, Stewart, Ferry, Windham, JT, Damon Huffman...this list could get very long, but those guys come to the front of my mind.

lol crap I can go on and on.. There all great guys with alot of pressure to perform I would never hold anything againats them for not being cool to chat with.. There normal people with a gift to ride mx and some have some money but there just like us.

Listen up...Sean H 105 is a really super nice guy and a genuine fellow. He's one of the nicest. but for all time nicest, will talk to anybody at any time anywhere and coupled with the fact that he was bigger than RC and MC for a spell I would have to say Magoo. A real person with absolutely no prima donna in him. Bad Brad is supercool too. All of em are real nice and approachable for the most part.

Now for some dicks of all time I'd have to say Reed and....hmmm. I'm thinking...

Guy Cooper- I hit a platue (sp) when I was an intermediate and my dad and I were trying to figure it out. So my dad calls information and gets Guy Coopers phone number. I told him he was nuts and no way he would talk to us. He left him a message and he actually called us back! Even invited us down to his private track to watch me and talk to me on his off weekend! My riding stepped up a level after that.

Thats a cool story. I like your Dad!
