They catch the 4-stroke around 1:50 and then it's on Smile

On second thought, is that a 450?

I sat there thinking..."if only he'd use the outside lines and carry a little more corner speed."

Of course it's easy to armchair quarterback.

Total photoshop. No WAY those 125s could even keep that 250F in the same TIME zone in a battle. Whistling Nice. Very VERY nice.
Today is the first day since last November that I'll be dragging my 500 out of hibernation. Now, I REALLY want to get on it. That was an awesome vid!

Holy hell that track has an abundance of 2 strokes. That Kawi (250? 450?) sounds like it was about to go pop.

It was awesome how the bigger, heavier 4 stroke with its huge engine and massive power and traction advantage pulled on the 125's down the straightaway at 1:55. Wait...

"What are you talking about dude, there aint no resurgence of 2-strokes at local tracks... you 2-stroke idiots need to take off your tin-foil hats!!" Woohoo Wink . This video is an indication of the pattern that actual racers are experiencing at the track every weekend... funny how the vitards can't see that while making wild speculations from their couches.

You guys can argue 2 vs 4 all you want to but to me that just looked like a load of fun. We have both in our stable and that whole thing just reminds me of my boys and I going at. Only thing is I cant ride that pace for that long. That's just fun to watch. Makes me want to go ride. I wished sometimes you fellas wouldn't post this shit of all this riding. I'm 11 days post-op left ACL surgery so it will be like 6 freaking months before I can ride again dammit!!

Now imagine how it WAS watching a true pro on a 125 "ringing" its neck.
That was my favorite thing on this planet.

Shit gave me goose bumps

That looked like tons of fun. When we break out the 125's we always have a blast!

That poor dude on the 450 couldnt catch a break. He musta thought he showed up on 2 stroke day! lol. We play that game at practice days and its always good times to see how many 450s we can pass. I race mine sometimes knowing I wont pull holeshot, but the 450s I do beat to the first turn for whatever reason are usually riding angry for that first few laps!

When you are on a 125 you have NOTHING to lose and only fun to gain. I love mine.

Ok, since I was there that day and watched that whole thing go down, let me add some points to consider.
1: the kid , number 214. He is fast. real fast. Put him on a 450 and he would be gone 30 seconds in
2: those guys were all there hanging out together between the a class practices
3: there were several other guys there that were faster than those 3.

Is it really that hard to believe, that a faster rider can beat a slower rider even given a horsepower handicap?

# 1 - you are right, he would have gone home 30 seconds in because his valves would be sticking out of the head.

#2 Hanging out together? So what.

# 3 Faster then those 3? I know guys who are even faster than those that are faster than those 3.

Is it really that hard to believe, that a faster rider can beat a slower rider even given a horsepower handicap?
No, it's just hard to believe that 125's are out because some manufactures would rather make a TON more money on 4 stroke parts.
