Normally I'd agree. I pretty much hate rap and much of the computer-generated music of today. But, this Michael's song sucks SO bad, I can't honestly think of a single rap song I heard that rubs me worse. I used to feel bad that the NFL fans were stuck with that fat leftover hillbilly Hank Williams Jr. for their football theme...but we're much, much worse off with this refurbished glam clown. And, he should take off the eyeliner and lipstick...there's nothing hip or sexy of some 50 year old guy trying to wear makeup and act cool and sexy. Shit.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the song just like the rest of you. But when I'm watching it with one of my friends, I have to make him watch it and sometimes even rewind it to watch it again just to irk him a little bit. He gets a bit impatient because he knows there is racing going on and just wants to get to it. Even my wife thinks it's the dumbest song ever.

My God NO! Seems like nothing more than a has been using a $10,000 check to buy his way into credibility. The Brett Michaels “Ride-On Award”, it’s a joke. That song belongs back in 1987 and even then it would have been bad. I turn it off whenever they play it on speed. I don't care what Ralph said on Matthes about it brining people into the sport, it sure isn't going to bring young people or even middle aged people with a modicum of musical taste into watching the sport. They need someone like Foo Fighters, Rush, or even Iron Maiden for God's sake would be an improvement.

Rush would be class, no doubt. Could be something a lot heavier, like Godsmack. Maybe swap it out with some hip-hop....I think that's pretty popular with some of the racers (I know MC was huge on rap). I'm not a rap fan, but I'd rather hear that than this train wreck.

I could not agree more.

When some dude has more make-up on than the Monster girls that's a clue he does not fit in with SX/MX. He better hope the FIM does not want to drug test him either. LOL
