I think if it was Maddo, he'd be more concerned about taking care of his sponsors.

I do think it's weird that there's not a lot of info on the guy. Maybe he wants to be a one-name person, like Madonna, Cher, Bono, etc.

Yeah but he would have built a big wall out of haybales right at the base of the landing just so he could have a dramatic crash.

For a jump like that, could you actually wear enough gear? (And would you want air under the visor on a moto helmet?)

No, probably not, but I still wouldn't wear a street bike helmet. Even removing the visor from your moto helmet isn't as lame as that. Laughing

It would provide lift so that way he could have made 400'.

You have to be fricking kidding right? Are you that big a nitwit?

That dude is going how fast and jumping how high? And you bag on the dude for wearing a good street lid to make sure he can see well? Did you see how narrow & long that ramp is? You cannot misjudge that approach or you are totally SOL !

An error on the approach = not a meat wagon ride, but a hearse ride.

That dude has nads of titanium doing that stuff.

Sure you can, bag on the dude all you want. But any motohead with a functioning brain can see that a street lid would be a smart choice for that kinda stunt.

Madd oruns without a viser as well.

its a smart choice in those distances/speeds

bonepony/larry.

maddo was doing about 92 to 95mph in the 350' .jumps
and wanting more top speed.

byrd jumped 350 ? unofficially last year as well.,but it was never recognized.

i admire his jumps,
but always wonder why he doesnt have the proper survey crew and other essientials to make it *official*..
in my mnd if your gonna huck 300 or 400 feet,
it seems youd make sure it was counted as official..

*shrugs*

insane jump though!

Hey AJ....do they have real engineers design those ramps with real engineering practices? That's a shitload of dynamic forces hitting that thing. I would hate to see one buckle. I imagine when freestylers started building ramps, at some point someone had to jump to the engineering aspects of safety.

I like him jumping the road before the big jump during his approach. None of that paved crap.
