My god... that is a works bike. You can buy a works bike.... beautiful. My only criticism: that PC pipe should be a PC "works" pipe

That is coming, we offer the CR250AF currently,

I'm working on the CR125AF..
using a new but the 1996-99 engine style

When i get the 125 finished, i'll get a shot with the three displacements in a lineup Smile
My understanding of the AF CR 125S is that it lacked air inflow. The carts love the CR 125 engine and they do not use the the stock airboot and airbox. If you can modify the airboot and airbox to increase air inflow..... look out

A.J. .... Just out of curiousity, would you be able to let us know approximately how many of these are sold each year? (P.S. I see your from Lowell, I grew up and spent most of my life in Demotte)

Is this the CRF250 F frame? What is the weight of the 2011 500T vs the 2011 450F? This is the bike KW and TC should be racing.

AJ sorry to bust your bubble. But PORN pics mean you have to post up pics of it stripped down, unclothed and with parts of it all out in the open so everyone can see. Maybe a little "nasty" during welding up it's inner thighs pics to top it off. Maybe two or three of them together. That's porn. Ha Ha.

By the way, very sweeeet bike.

dint think about that, although I have seen the magazines do those stripped down style photos sometimes ...
that look pretty cool.

AJ, nice bikes! Have you guys done any bikes with a Kawasaki or Honda motor in a Suzuki frame?

a few points:

how does the engine placement affect the bikes handling?
it must change the center of gravity, front to back weight bias

how does the frame react to the different power output, less reciprocating mass, the flex induced etc.?

with a more compact motor and no 4st head sitting high I would imagine it improves mass centralization

lovely bike, absolutely top notch !

got to be extraordinarily fast in the right hands

Have you ever done a pic sequence of bike being built or a time elapsed vid? That would be cool to see.

You put hot chicks on that bike, and most of these guys would have a wet spot in their pants. LOL.

Panic, I'd say no that won't happen. I wouldn't show my work, and I'd bet AJ wouldn't want to either. We all have a proprietary way of doing things. Just cutting and welding isn't what makes these bikes. Anyone could do that, but then you see bikes break in half. AJ's I'd bet don't break in half. There's definitely differences between backyard bikes and professionally done one's. Just sayin...

Wow123: 500AF's have been shown to run better lap times than 450F's. That is from slow up to fast riders. I haven't ridden other AF's but can say my CR turns just like a CR250. It is way way better handling than my friends 09 CRF450 that I rode. That bike when I turned in a sharp turn, felt like it was pushing. AJ or Wardy could answer better on others. But I'd say 2 strokes just have been shown to handle better because of motor weight and how it runs.

Question for anyone in here that owns one.

What are those like to ride? Do they vibrate a ton? Or is it not too bad? Looks like they would be the most fun on open sandy trails, dunes etc. At least thats where i would picture myself going with one if i owned one.

Vibration isn't bad, but then again I installed a set of Flexx bars, so that isolated some of it.

The bikes are surprisingly versatile. Once you learn how to use the engine, this bike does almost everything very well. The only thing that's a bit of a struggle is getting used to how hard it accelerates. If you're not careful, you'll find yourself going too fast very quickly. I've ridden mine on MX tracks mainly, whether they're tight or very open, loose or hardpack, wet or dry. I've only taken it on a trail ride once, and the bike did very well. I'm looking forward to taking it to the open desert...I'll bet this thing's a riot.

Typically
this lightens the bike by about 16 pounds(compared to a 450)
and roughly the same weigt as a 250F but with more torque , and snappier power delivery.

The front /rear weight bias, remains the same percetage wise.
yet the weight is carried slightly lower. (slightly lower C/G)

so you end up with a bike that feels much lighter, and typically handles much better.

The caveat is the original chassis, how it handles overal and specifically?
Converting it will generally enhance its strenghts, and show its weaknesses,
Overall the converted bikes tend to handle better than the original, sometimes amazingly so.
500AF riders are typically surprised at just how well the bike handles on both an MX track and in tight trails.

I like everything , and ride a lot of different bikes,
obviuoskly inclusive of some of our other models which i spebnd a lot of time on when i can..
One of my favorites is the Junior X, and the KX250AF,
and yes i do like other brands, and 4 strokes etc.
but if i had to pick one to do everything ,and just have one bike , for MX ,for dunes, tight trials etc it would be a 500AF
its simple the most versatile and most anyone who has muich time on one likely would agree.

This thread is worthless without a video. No idiot music drowning out the sound of the bike either.
