They just look like they are made of inferior materials. I have heard nothing but bad complaints about boots with only 3 straps because they don't distribute the pressure evenly and can cause pinching. The toes look really soft because they don't have a hard rubber or steel cap. There's no bump on the heel for heel-shifting.

They might make a good play riding or trail boot, but if you're a racer go with something more conventional and proven.

What's with the new sole trend on all the boots nowadays. They look good on tech-10's, but I have yet to see another boot that it looks good on. I'm guessing replacing them isn't an option either unless they have inserts. Isn't Berik big in road racing? I know the old boots were junk in my experience, curious as to how these are. Besides the sole they look decent to me.

Except the rubber fell off the boots, the checks at least bounced.

And people complain about Sidi chewing up the side of the bike. At least they don't have exposed screw heads!

I had the rc boots, no complaints. Lasted as long as my tech 8's, and not quite as long as my oxtar's.

Haha, yeah. The ones actually endorsed and even branded by the GOAT were no go-ers.. These things aren't going to sell for sh*t!

I like the carbon style material and that's it. The boot kind of looks like a Nike boot, crossed with a tech 10 and in the inner leg of an SG10. Which, as it was made by berik leads to an awful outcome..

As berik are more of a road bike company as opposed to offroad and they're ventures appear to fail every time. I can guarantee kawi's new team manager and ex-super bike guru will face the same fate...

I had a pair of the old one that I got for pretty cheap after they stopped making them. I thought they were great boots imo. Running Tech 10's now but defiantly would like to try out a new set of Beriks.

I had 2 perr. One was the RC replica and the other was the standard one. I'll pass.

I had a set of the RC boots, I really liked them. Rode on them for a couple of years, and then switched to tech-8's. I still keep them as spares.

Isn't Berik big in road racing?

Yes. Very!

I had a set of RC Berik's and quite liked them until I did this while wearing them!

No, I don't wear them any more...

Not sure I'd blame the boot. I had a similar break with Tech 8's. Some accidents just can't be prevented, no matter how good the equipment.
