He was passing Townley for 8th in the first moto when he looked to have stalled the bike or tipped over.

He definitely is one of the great stories two races in.

Yeah, Sean crashed in moto 1 when he was in front of Townley, and gave up a bunch of spots.

In moto two there was a problem with his clutch perch assembly before the start, and I have photos where he's missing a fork guard. I'd heard that he also made a mid-moto pit stop...I'm guessing some kind of crash.

Yeah guys first moto I had just gotten into 8th after halfway and went down, so it dropped me back to like 20th so I had some work cut out but was able to get back to 15th not great but points. Then second moto we had a problem with my perch not adjusting there was metal inside the spindle so they replaced it after the parade lap. Then for like the first 4 laps my bike was acticng a little funny and it had a click in the front end so i came into the mechanics area to see what was wrong and my start device had been stuck from the start!! Dyno Gls mechanic kicked and pulled and it would not release!! So he ripped the whole guard off and I went all the way back to 37th after 4 laps and was able to bust my ass back to just 18th. I know the results dont look that great on paper but with the speed I felt I have had I should have been at least where I was last weekend if not a little better. Overall it was a crap weekend but atleast I scored some points and kept going, also fitness was great so that was a plus.

Whatever the reason sounds like the kid could bring some needed speed and results to any team.

I believe Hamblin is just better on the big bikes than the lites.
I would hope a few eyes have been opened.

I agree with you. That is one thing most US riders underestimate when they go over there.
But Hamblins performance this year is pretty strong and a little surprising to me based on his GP performance last year.
Andymoto makes a good point about Hambone being a big bike rider. He had some impressive rides on the 250 zook 2 stroke also.
Either way hope he lands something big soon.

I have always felt a bit more at home on the bigger bike. Yes when I was in Europe the results were not as good as the previous weeks but also I never felt I rode as well as I have been as of late either. With me being home now I had plenty of time to think of what I REALLY WANTED to do, not what I just should be doing. I am having fun again and I think that is the biggest difference from the years past. I think both series are great in their own element but to try and compare my results in MX2 versus MX1 now is pretty hard if you ask me........
