I know this was posted about before but Reed sounds excited about it on dmxs. It will be interesting If both Reed and JS7 end up on the same color. And he said we should have a manufacturer within the week. cool.

You gotta respect Reed....he gave a big F U to the factories and is doing it on his own. Bringing Goose over is line with what he said a few weeks ago, where he said he "was going to add some key people". He's now got the best guy wrenching on his bikes...

yeah, that whole "rolling up the windows thing" didn't look very cool....

I've had big respect for Goose going back to his RC days, but last year was rough. If RD doesn't have "bike problems" on multiple occasions, he had a shot at both the SX and MX titles. Not saying they are all Goose's fault, but...where does the buck stop?
How many DNF's has Poto had because of bike problems during that time?

How about what color he'll be riding? Is it safe to assume it would between one or two that Goose has most experience with or does it really matter when you are as good as Goose? Team GasGas?

I heard GasGas is Reed's first choice after learning he acquired Goose. He said the name on the side of the bike will be a reminder to fill tank before every moto.

They should rent a shop in Buellton and work at Castillo Ranch again. That is a nice area- I would love to spend the SX season there!

Interesting that it has been stated that the flavour of the month is red...so who knows we may still see twotwo on hondas next year...guess we will know officially in a week or so it seems

I believe Chad actually tried to get Goose when he set up team two two.
Only it was too late and he'd already committed to Suzuki.
I believe it was on the pulpmx show last year that he talked about it.
They actually became good mates when they came down to aus for superx.
So it was no surprise to me that he's going there.

Pssst.....Reed's been begging the factories since last year. However it took Weimer and Villopoto to really get the word out that the bike sucked. Just like Stewart had been saying. And is now sayng again!

Suzuki's sucked too.

Until Tortelli developed it.

If he loses, he likes to blame the team/bike. well he isnt going to blame himself now that its HIS team. but that Honda DID blow up. and he crashed that ill-handling bucking bronco all by himself. i think he forgot to countersteer that Honda on the exit of that corner. freaking bizarre handling...

I guess I dont really understand what Goose's role will be if Lars is staying on as Reeds mechanic. I cant believe Goose would go over there just to be part of the team and be a motor guy or something. I think this top level rider Reed is talking about is more of a done deal than he is leading on.

Ehh wrong, Reed talked about wanting to get Goose last year but goose was set with suzuki for only one more year (thats why he ended up with lars) and Reed already said Lars is still gonna be his mechanic
