It was great to see him close it up and make the pass for the win. That is 4 years in a row winning at Millville for Dungey.

The series has tightened up and should be a squeaker all the way to the finish. None of these guys have been dominant, it is just a matter of who is having a better moto at the time.

I was just looking at the series standings. Dungey's worst finish (not counting the out of gas DNF) is ONE 3rd place moto at High Point. He also has 3 moto wins and 9 second place motos.

That is crazy consistency ruined by a small gas tank.

Regardless, if Reed did this or that, Dungey is always there. He's been a little cautious about passing. but he backs it up with speed and being in the right position. He's not as balls-to-the-wall sometimes as RV, Reedy, and JS, but he doesn't crash as much either.

I just got done watching the race. He rode really well but I don't think he had enough for Reed if Reed didn't crash. Chad was on it today.

My bad, I mis read the first one (I'm tired), I thought it was talking about RV2, not Reed. Reed was on for sure but in the end, no matter how bad he is, he still crashed

Dungey has been a stud all year long-more podiums in sx than anyone else and his outdoors save the dnf has been equally ridiculous. He ain't gettin props for his season. The dude has been killing it with consistency since January. His only issues have been a dnf with a chain and a dnf running out of fuel. But he didn't let either get him down. The guy is a total machine between the ears, seriously.

Give it to the Dunge - he took advantage of the situation. He made a great pass on RV. I hope he keeps that aggression in the last 5 races. If he does, he has a great shot at the #1 plate again.

I'm kinda wondering why Fro and Jason kept talking about how aggresive RD's pass was on RV. A jump before the pass RV crossed over on Dungey on the face. Then like the next corner Dungey ran Poto a little wide, but never made any contact. Just thought it was strange they kept talking about how aggressive his pass was. I thought Poto's move on the face of the jump was more aggressive than the pass that Dungey made. Such a great season.... Still pulling for RV!!!!!!

You know I'm a Dungey fan and I have never been that keen on Reed. Not sure why but just never have. But as a racer myself..him gettng up from that nasty getoff and gutting it out in the second moto gets my respect. No one can question that guys toughness after today.
