Last years Fly gear was pretty bad, grew on me a bit though. This stuff will never look good.

I usually refrain from these gear bashing threads, because what looks good is personal to each rider. That being said, that stuff on the left is the absolute worst looking gear I have ever seen produced in my 30 years in the sport. I would wear all black metal mulisha gear in the Texas heat before I would be caught dead in that kit.

I always loved the fit, construction, and durability of my fly gear. However, this trend of ultra busy gear just sucks. I wish fly would go back to clean lines, colors, and designs. Everyones gear the past couple years has looked like someone got in a fight with the sno cone vendor at the track. The stuff on the right may look ok in some other color ways though.

Are we touching the bottom yet? Fly has been quite a disgrace to the style of our sport but this is just a new low.

Why? Don't tell me that's what kids want. Kids want cool stuff that are fresh and modern, this is just an overload of crap of bad taste! Sorry but I'm pissed when I see all this effort and work for that kind of result.

I seriously can't see anyone buying this crap, even at pennies on the dollar. I hope the company can afford to have a bad, bad year if this is the best they can do. Whoever approved that shit seriously needs to be fired.

Dang, I regret saying I would get the 2012 Fly gear last week. Their Canard and Shorty helmets looked great! What happened??

I am holding out hope that maybe, just maybe, they are planning special TC or AS edition gear that will match the helmets.



Otherwise...... it's back to TLD or Fox for me. I just can not, WILL NOT, ever wear that gear. UGHHHHH!!!!

Looks like the guys at Fly did a lot of R&D(Research & Duplicate) when they designed that gear. The purple stuff...well there's just no excuse for that...

I don't even think a bunch of Euro rockers out of the heads on Vodka, Redbull and Ecstasy rockin' out at the Ministery of Sound with Pete Tong, their pacifiers, light sticks and vapor rub in hand would consider rolling that garbage.
