I hear time and time again on here from the KTM hecklers about not buying KTM because of parts availability or the high costs of parts. I've also seen on here on more than one occasion where detailed parts comparisons over a wide range of parts comparing the KTM's to the Japanese brands and for the majority of those random comparisons, the KTM appeared to come out being less expensive. So, one myth debunked. Now on to actual availability of parts. I placed a call from Beaumont, Texas to Munn Racing, located in wherever the heck Elm Mott Texas is(near Waco??) at 5:30 pm yesterday. Ordered for our 08 144SX a fuel tank upper bushing, a throttle cable and all the necessary hardware and grommets for a single mount silencer to the subframe (bolt, spring washer, rubber grommet and two different aluminum bushings/spacers) . Total of seven oddball parts all in stock. Address and credit card info given and he says they'll ship out "tonight". Hell, it's 5:30 and they're gonna ship same day? You betcha', noon today and the mailman drops them off. Total price with shipping and tax, $66.97. No way can you get any complaints out of me. As I have only ordered from them twice ever I doubt there is any sort of discount being extended to me at this point.

Two thumbs up for Munn KTM.

In years past, I have seen Chip take parts off of team bikes to ensure that a customer unit is back on the track. Have even seen them switching parts between bikes in staging. Old school to the core.

Can't count the number of times Chip and Big Dan have gotten parts to me the next day after my kids wad their bikes up !!! They've taken parts off new bikes on the showroom floor to keep my kids riding......On ameture day at Freestone ,my little man wadded himself ,and the bike up pretty severe...Big Dan snatched up the bike,,by the time little dude was out of the med tent and back to the RV,,Dan had the bike ready to go !!!

If you need something for a KTM,,,,these are the guys you need to call !!! There isn't much they don't stock...

Chip is a great dude, we used to race each other on 80s way back when. He deserves big props for sure. Many years back when he owned a bar they had excellent service as well! Mitch from Texas...

Old thread I know. Just giving credit where it's due. I wanted some FE shrouds and decal kit for my 150. Called munn and Chip answered the phone. He had no problem getting me what I needed and at a good price shipped to me.
