There is a you tube vid with the same setup and a car video taping behind the guy happens to catch the bike falling off and getting wadded up on the freeway.

Reminds me of that pic in an old MXA that shows 2 stonered out lookin dudes at Saddleback hauling their bikes in a Citroen with the back and top cut off.

There is a guy around here,WI,IL that I see once in a while and he pulls a small trailer with his mx bike on it with his Honda Gold wing. He has been doing that for years.

Me and my best friend use to go racing with a Chevy Sprint; three cylinder engine, three rail trailer with three bikes, and all the gear, gas, everything....

Might of been a hoopty operation, but it was "the little Sprint that could"...back in the late 80's; went to Mammoth one year in it; still think got like around 30 MPG; shoot, with nothing it got like unbelievable mileage....

When I was a kid I remeber seeing that a few times, one of the local hotshoes was hauling his bike in an old pinto with the same set up, and coming out and winning. That was in the early 80's sometime.

There was a guy that used to show up at Englishtown practice track in NJ with his bike in a honda CRX. He would dissassemble the whole front end, subframe, and swingarm in sections and stuff the bike into the hatch in chunks. I guess he would find someone with a powerwasher to let him clean it before taking it back apart to go home, but I never really paid attention to him at the end of the day. But he was good entertainment while we waited around in morning for the track to open.

With gas prices the way they are heading rigs like this will be the hot set ups. Big haulers and $10,000 dirt bikes will be taboo and the sport will look like it did in the 70s.

After he retired from MX/SX and started road racing, JMB showed up at a French race with a CR500 in pieces in the back of his car. Bolted everything together and went out and kicked everyone's ass. True story.

Don't remember the guys name but he took apart a YZ125 put it in a boxes and a trash can (plastic) and flew to the Nationals with it.
