That was an awesome race but If cunningham wasn't such as Fu&K tomac would have won this championship....congrads to tickle.....

Cunningham was in the race too wasn't he? Tomac should have started up there with Roczen if he didn't want to have to work for it. 20 guys on the gate, shit happens.

Tomac also made a few stupid decisions in those last few laps, but I'd agree that the other two were pushing the issue quite a bit.

eli is not the next larocco or pastrana. he had a great rookie season and made a couple bobbles the last few laps and gave the title away. he still had a great season and will learn from it and move on. Tickle certainly had more help out there but Broc rode his ass off to win that title.

There were two guys racing for a championship and two guys that went out of their way to make it hard on one of them. The group high fives sealed the deal for me, but in any other year Tickle would have already been the champ going into this race so I guess it is what it is. Consistency paid off I guess, but Tomac has a much brighter future than Tickle I feel.

Tickle will not defend the title next year.

Agreed. Tickle won't win another one, Tomac will win several. It's unfortunate that Seely basically cost him this one but he has a long career ahead of him.

I wouldn't hate. I'd congratulate.

The entire top ten in the west showed their speed and every point counted.

Eli will be fine and showed his championship level speed, racing head, represented his team, self and family well and learned some stuff.

But broc found his way to win in the same fashion.

Nice going to broc.
