Anyone on here familiar with FCR? More specifically is there anyone on here that has went there for their class? Either the service/rebuild class or the more indepth valving/mod class, or both? Its not real cheap and its only 1 day for each of those so I would like to hear from anyone who uses them or went to the class.

Unfortunately it looks like the Pansy deleted his comments, but this was going around not too long ago. The owner/manager was commenting on the dude’s post basically taunting him with the forks he’s been asking for and then had his family kin swarm the post and make themselves look like real dickheads. Do with that what you will.
Thank you for that. I have watched a lot of their vids lately and to be honest they seemed a little arrogant with their replies to questions and comments. I would love to find some place to learn more about in depth suspension and such but I thing I will pass on FCR. $3500 for 2 days of standing there working along side one of their guys and trying to learn everything they are doing.
Thumper Talk, captian knobby went to the class. Race Tech offers a class too.
So awhile back on the gram or maybe fb there was some posts going around about an "FCR suspension" company doing shoddy work and not making it right, or straight up taking parts and/or payment and never sending them back. And the owners or person running the page was a dickhead about it as stated above. Can't find those posts anymore or rather I haven't looked but I wouldn't trust that company.
See their adds frequently and it always has some "know-more-than-everyone-else" type attitude in the posts and comments.

What exactly are you looking to learn? I’ve pretty much taught myself everything regarding servicing WP, Showa, and KYB forks and shocks through YouTube, Vital, and Thumpertalk. Slowly diving into shuffling shims on my own WP stuff.
Racetech and Powerband offer classes
I guess mostly the custom setups and valving for each rider, etc. I service most stuff now, including WE and Fox, havent done much WP yet. I've done the gold valves but I want to understand more about what shims to change to achieve what I'm after without a build sheet from RT.
I’d look into the schools by Powerband in FL. He’s really stepped his game up over the years and isn’t just a WP specialist anymore.

Your thread from last year still has some screen shots. I wouldn't tolerate those jerks for a day if they paid me $3500, lol.
The most you are going to be able to get out of a two day class is some experience rebuilding forks/shock without messing anything up. Then you better go home and rebuild a few sets of each to cement that knowledge in your mind. $3500 seems like a lot to learn that. The shimming stuff is as much art as science. It takes a lot of experience. On top of that you have the next level where you start doing thigs like putting KYB pistons in WP shocks.
I don't say this to discourage you from learning. Just understand that to get good at this you need to do it a lot. You can learn to revalve off a sheet given to you by a tuner like Racetech, but developing those stacks is what takes a lot of time to learn.
Completely forgot I started that when it was first making its rounds. Absolutely baffling they are still in business.
The Race Tech Suspension Bible is pretty good and only $35.
As an Ohioan, stay away from them. I wouldn't let them touch my bicycle. So many horror stories. Wonder if they teach leaving shop towels stuffed in forks.... Lol
Many other ways to learn. If you have questions, Travis at SRS in Ohio is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help.
There’s a lot of information out there for free.
I think the “suspension classes” from anyone who offers them are just a money grab.. But that’s my opinion.
I don't pay attention to stories. I've been on their suspension since 2008. Never had any problems with it, and the settings have worked for me.
They're not stories when they're from first hand people.
Bob did my stuff in the late 90s early 2000s.. A. He screwed me on money. B. He only ever did one set that was decent and it was my arenacross set up on an 03crf450.. he did an outdoor set up for me and i took it to red bud and that stuff tried to kill me. Ended up paying MCR right there at the track to re-do it. He couldn't believe the imagination they had while building my stuff. Lol.. Then most recently the crap they pulled with the dude in the link above... Nope. Bobs kids running stuff now i hear and hes clearly a jackass based upon his crazy replies to a paying customer he was shafting.
You have your experience, I have mine. He never screwed me. You're talking about first hand experiences. Then you go on to say you heard his kid is running things. Is that first hand info too?
It was clear in his posts actually. I get trying to defend someone, but the hard proof and facts are out there if anyone does their research.
