Any word on why journalists are being arrested? 

The one journalist who was arrested they gave the reasoning as him being 'agressive' and disruptive. The body cam footage doesn't seem all that condemning though. Maybe annoying, but not criminal.

I have to wonder if the derailments are connected with the same group that was shooting up electrical sub-stations?  The "chaos crowd".

There's video of the train axle on fire in Salem OH, about 20 miles before it finally derailed. Supposedly the train would have gone through a thermal sensor which should have alerted the operators. Supposedly the operators did get a warning but at this time I haven't seen it released if that warning came from the thermal sensor in Salem or East Palestine right before the derailment. I know a couple responders that got called in. Theres local pressure to keep the situation low-key.

There's a piece of land right outside town that's hosted hare scrambles forever, probably the same place, I don't know if that club still owns or promotes it.

This is what happens when you have the Ohio State Patrol and small town cops involved. 

Possibly not related at all but remember it wasn't but a few weeks ago that the govt squashed a RR train strike.  The workers were forced to accept a substantial raise instead of the personal/sick leave they really wanted.

The RR companies are minimum manning the entire operation.  Can't afford folks calling in sick for themselves or family.

I guarantee that RR management can take off for emergencies.

I saw 1.79 to 5.49 in 6 months and over 8 dollars for gas and over 9 for diesel at one point.  Most areas are 5 bucks plus anywhere in the west.

And diesel is crap. You can literally make gas from diesel. And they can't say it is a supply and demand thing. That is artifical. Just look way back before diesel trucks got popular...it was 50 cents to one full dollar per gallon less than gas.

If they can convince you to pay more for a product that costs less to make, who is really winning?

Crude oil tanker trains derail weekly . You only here about the trains that explode. When I started at the big pipeline co I worked on a train derailment. A lot of it was in a swamp the railroad tried to stiff us with the hazmat fines. That was the last derailment we every did. I did rail plowing too we plow 7 ft deep 4 or 5 interduct fiber optic cable then is pulled. That’s how your phone works. It’s linked to towers . This was all ovr america . A lot of rails r in really bad shape with 5 or 10 mph speed limits. How do derailments happen ? Engineer violates the speed limit.

Also, he is/was a majority stakeholder in Cinopec, China Govt owned largest oil company.  That is who we sold millions of barrels of oil to.

Now, when the US buys that oil back at a premium cost of say 10-50 dollars more per barrel, Hunter will become a billionaire.
