And you’re guessing without knowing the facts too, right? Or were you there? I wasn’t there so you’re correct, it’s an assumption. What I do know is there was quite a few people there who wanted him gone. I highly doubt all of those people were wrong as opposed to that one journalist being right.
Again, another assumption. You could be right, just pointing out the flaws with guessing is all.
From what I gathered the journalist was being disruptive. He was asked to stop and refused. He was told to leave and refused. Like I said, there were a lot of people upset with one particular person. Usually when that’s the case it’s pretty easy to pick out who the aggressor was.
So it’s okay for others blasting the police for what happened to assume? Because I don’t see you calling them out…

Hey all you folks blasting the police, hold your damned horses until we get the full story. That is an order.
Happy?
This could turn out to be our Chernobyl, time will tell.
I was going to mention that before but held off. I can't stop thinking about the residents of the town being told to return ,they are being completely ignored. It's clearly not safe or animals and fish wouldn't be dropping dead. I'm guessing nobody will ever see the test results of that river that supplies drinking water for 5 million people.
Was watching Joe Rogan on it earlier and was aghast at what these people are seeing.
The videos on YouTube are tragic.
Yep. I won’t “assume” either.
Anyways, this is a horrible tragedy. I’ve done races in that area (Salem too) and I’m really hoping for the best possible outcome for everyone affected.
I am, too. Just terrible all the way around and I feel for the folks that live in that area.
The video of the whole thing is available. Hard to say he was being disruptive. The cops kind of acted like assholes and it just escalated from there. He felt he was being unfairly singled out. He was there doing his job. Check it out and form your own opinion.
A military officer put hands on the guy telling him to leave. Not his job.
All charges dropped.
I tried finding it on YouTube but wasn’t successful. What I saw was a couple cops politely trying to get him to go outside to avoid further disruptions. One cop was being kinda more direct? Then the lead superintendent identified himself and told him he was telling him to leave. That’s when your arguing should end. At that point, the guy responsible for making decisions for that establishment has told you to get out. When he again refused, now it’s trespassing 🤷♂️ it’s really not hard to understand at all. The person who either owns or who is in charge of the venue told him to leave. He has to leave regardless of whether or not he’s right or wrong. Just because he’s a reporter that doesn’t give him special privileges.
So now we're hearing that it's a company contracted by the train company, that's been testing water and air quality.
And not anyone from the EPA.
So while people are beginning to become sick, wild and domestic animals are dying, a lame ass pair of local shills in lab coats are standing around telling residents that all is well.
You're all just a bunch of hypochondriacs with head colds.
And the transportation secretary is out bemoaning the fact that it's nothing but white guys showing up to do the work on construction projects.
A side note:
We're seeing the current administration give more resources to criminal illegal immigrants, than lawful American citizens.
And right before our very eyes.
But hey, they're shooting down balloons, so it can't be all that bad.
(But remember, they're not space aliens)
You can't make this shit up,
And, #FJB
come on where's the juicy conspiracy theory?!?!
Pit Row
You can make it up though, and you did. Maybe the company is also conducting testing (I would sure hope so, anyway) but the US EPA and the Ohio EPA are both very involved. This statement was from Tuesday; I'm sure there is more since then, too.

You can see the lead up to the confrontation in this video, no audio however.
It was Republican governor Dewines choice to have the cleanup and monitoring effort spearheaded by the Ohio EPA and the Ohio DNR.
I didn't "make up" a damn thing.
And I find it maddening that you believe anything coming from our government about this.
Cool
Good article here, but as a warning to those who want to blame the Biden administration, or subscribe to conspiracy theories that this was somehow intentional to distract us from 'what is really going on', it won't fit your narrative.

Can you confirm it’s authenticity?
And let’s not be insulting by pretending you don’t have a ‘narrative’.
All politics aside:
Who trusts what “The Government” is saying/telling the local citizenry versus what those same local citizens are reporting…showing…is happening to themselves and their domestic pets - animals- livestock?
Btw, it’s now reported -with video- that this train was on fire/dragging brakes over 20 miles BEFORE the derailment.
lol.
From the article:
"It is too early to say what the long term impacts, if any, of 32N’s derailment will be." Then it goes into a long backstory about how the train system sucks.
Thanks. This absolutely demolishes any concerns the public should have as they are releasing known carcinogens into the air!!
your comment surprised me as I fully agree with you. That doesn't happen often.
Yeah, the article says the fire was seen on a doorbell camera 20 miles before the accident.
Exactly! 😂😂
