Found moto to be almost as bad as FB pages. I remember making just a few initial comments in a race thread, and within minutes three members were attacking my words.
Still ignore the one to this day, one was permabooted not long after, and one recently went batshit crazy on my ass for something I supposedly said years ago to the one now permabooted.
Still, this place has a long way to go to reach the level of vile depravity of the old ridemonkey cycling forum of 20yrs ago.

Imagine being at the racetrack surrounded by the sound of engines, loamy dirt, and horsepower… and instead of enjoying it, you’re bugging the forum owner to complain about the non-moto section. That’s not passion for riding — that’s professional whining.
Moto forum has always been worse, and anyone denying that just outs themselves as a casual who barely participates. If the political threads get under your skin, there’s already a solution: don’t participate in them. Keep scrolling.
This isn’t complicated. Forums are like sandboxes — eventually they fill with crap and need a quick raking. The rest of us understand that and carry on. But running to the owner like it’s tattletale time at recess? That’s just embarrassing.

4. Political discussions will be allowed as long as they're civil. You can all disagree and argue to your heart's desire but as soon as a discussion quits being a discussion (shit talking, calling other members by derogatory names, or personal threats) it will be dealt with. When you've lost the ability to defend your position and result to childish insults, you're no longer having a discussion worth having. Someone attacks you? Just report it, don't fire back, or you'll also find yourself suspended with the original culprit. As the old saying goes, two wrongs do not make a right.
The problem is, that in life, so many things are affected by politics. How many people on here enjoy their firearms? Yes, politics greatly affect that. How about driving a car? Politics affect that too. How about building a house? Regulations affected by politics. People that need help from disasters? You guessed it, politics. The problem isn't talking about politics, it's when you attack the person vs the post. If you're willing to post something, it's fair game to scrutinize. And as with everything, there's always nuggets of good within the bad and bad within the good. We don't always know the bigger picture but civil discussion reveals more information which is always good. Sometimes it entrenches you more sometimes it makes you question why you believe a certain thing. A lot of people were pissed Deegan cut the track, but if you point out something he did well, all of a sudden your a nut hanger. And that's not just a Deegan thread that's a lot of threads. And quite frankly, If I post I'm a Jett fan, there are names for that too. Why? And just like that, because you don't like politics, everyone's a clown. You made yourself into the bad example.
