Rumor has it Sexton is with Aldon....may still be working with Peter Park off the bike, but training with the rest of the Team.
Thoughts?
Read somewhere on here they are riding the tracks but not doing aldon’s program.
That might be just the finishing touch he needs
What sort of finishing touches does the reigning 450 Supercross Champion need, physically speaking?
I think the transition to the steel framed KTM is job #1
The better question is why did Sexton and Vialle both leave Moto Sandbox...
The Shop
Maybe Captain Lewis will drop by with some info
What I've heard from the grapevine:
-KTM wants the all the bikes at the same spot (Aldon's shop) which is easier for parts & shipping. There's a LOT of shipping involved with the team based in California and riders in Florida, suspensions/engines/OEM & aftermarket parts... Way more convenient to have all the bikes & practice mechanics all in one place...
-Factory guys based in Florida but not in Aldon's program (Sexton/Vialle) can ride at the Baker's Factory (I would assume there are rules in place where riders in different programs don't ride the same day or on the same track).
-Riders not in Aldon's program can ride at other facilities if they desire...
This makes a lot of sense if the move is mostly logistical.
Sexton has, in the past, credited his musculature for his ability to avoid injury from his crashes. Hard to see him buying in to Aldon's "lean and mean," philosophy after only 6 races.
Yeah one would think someone like AP would actually benefit more from say Peter Parks methods of training. Also, I remember Reedy worked with Peter Park a long time ago and mentioned he was very muscle based and that he didn’t need that type of training due to his body type.
I think KTM told them to leave.......because the performance is not where it needs to be
What the hell are you talking about? He's one of five winners and only six points out of first with 11 rounds to go. His performance is just fine.
Vialle has raced once this year and sexton is well in the hunt for the championship. Your just talking nonsense.
Kitchen is the one who really got screwed here. He was riding with vialle & sexton & now he’s not. The place they were all riding is big for amateurs, with a lot of eyeballs around & it probably gets old having little Johnny rocket gawking all day when you’re trying to ride or test.
lol, yeah sure KTM is disappointed with having ran the #1 red plate and being in the mix for the points lead. Great take!
He’s been riding with JA recently so it’s not all bad
I believe this because of Ktm’s egos of the bosses in charge there. They don’t believe in anything but the Aldon program.
Didn’t reed have some of his best years when he was with Peter? Them years on the Honda 22 was he not with Peter at that time?
I didn't say it was bad, but he won a mud race and Jett walked away from him in Detroit. He is expected to win and he is not. I am not saying anything is wrong, but they asked him to move his home base there and he left moto sandbox 6 races in. That's not insignificant. Maybe it was his choice?

Pit Row
MMM maybe there's kickbacks involved for some of those bosses when a rider goes to the Baker program.
The aldon baker mystique is over and everyone knows it. There is zero chance chase is on his program or that this is anything more than KTM paying aldon for guys to ride there and have one location to base things out of. Aldon gets paid so it's a win for him and doesn't have to do much more than maintain a schedule. The guys keep doing whatever they want and are just doing it at a different location. This isn't complicated or all that interesting. If you listen to these guys talk they all talk about riding other places and with different people all the time.
He’s not training with Aldon he’s just riding there. Let’s not make this into something it’s not.
I have lost faith in Aldons' program. Lawrences, Sexton, Tomac, Ferrandis etc all have done well without it. Who is the most recent champ from Baker's Factory? Dunge?
Aldon, turning Campions into Champions and taking credit for it since 2005
Well that's just not Vital worthy.

You think they would want him to stay with another race winner and arguably one of the most inform riders Roczen. As opposed to the Bakers. I guess Plessinger is a reference for race winning speed.
I get it from a logistical standpoint.
I am not a Aldon fan, but do you belive that Webb would have his two 450 sx titles without Aldon?.
Are we forgetting Webb's 2 championships.
Anderson also won since dunge.
Did you read DV’s post? Dude’s that aren’t on the Baker program can still ride at other facilities (Sexton/Vialle).
Nobody is making anything into anything. I just thought it was interesting that Sexton had his own deal with training and riding and now that is changed. I don't buy it only changed to save in shipping cost.
Post a reply to: Sexton to Baker's Factory??
