AP is good people, super nice, has a good following, but he's not high dollar contract material anymore. He'll probably have 1-2 very good race towards last 3rd of the SX season, but I feel he's more of a 5-12th guy nowadays.

I feel like some moto fans always have such a short-term memory and for most fans riders are only just as good as their last race. Also why do we always expect 250 championship winners to automatically dominate and win championships in the 450 class specially when we have so many 250 champs (and 450 champs) up there?

Plessinger had such a good run last year before he struggled with his health. He even kept pace with Jett and Hunter in some outdoor motos. Right now he is obviously far from where he was last year health and performance wise but hopefully he can get back to that level.

I think most peoples points are if had 15 more pounds of muscle, and wasn’t on the bicycle so much, he may not have got run down.

The harsh truth in this sport (and most other sports aswell) is that you're only as good as your last race/game.

It doesn't look good for AP, i doubt KTM group keeps him if this continues. Or he would have to take a significant pay cut.

AP will sell me a KTM before Pradno ever will. Some things are more important than results.

What about ClubMx on a 450? I think Fly has already tried signing him recently, and Club went after Barcia this year so they tried going after a big name guy.

I think that he would be a good fit with Beta - he would be an upgrade for the team, for him maybe not so much pressure as top 10 would be enough and could sail into retirement being a brand ambassador and doing occassional GNCCs.

I hadn’t considered that. His fans will go with him no matter what color his bike is. Would be cool to see Beta pony up enough money to make him interested. Even if he was racing with McElrath around 12th his fans would be watching his every move and cheering him on.

It would be cool if NBC made a bigger deal out of guys who don’t typically get Top 10’s and interviewed them after the race. I’m thinking of guys like Colt last night. Gets him some notoriety and his sponsors some air time for his achievements. There is usually one guy every race that cracks the top 10 that typically doesn’t. I don’t even care if they give it some goofy ass name.

Beta would be a great option other than HEP.  I do not see KTM re-signing him after this year with Prado and Eli on the books.
