How is the bike great with a 250 engine bolted in but a mystery to figure out with a 450 engine?

They said the exact same thing about the Yam 450 until Star got hired to run the team….

Tell us you don’t have much riding experience without telling us you don’t have much riding experience..

I’ve got 40 years of experience thanks.  Obviously the engine does make a difference.  I just have a hard time believing it’s night and day.

So RJ didn’t win in spite of the bike and mgmt? RV and JS didn’t win despite of the bike and mgmt? So it’s impossible for Chase, Marchbanks, Febvre, or anyone to win or compete on it? Yeah, okay.

My guy, you've got all the pieces but you aren't putting it together. RJ, RV, RC, JS7... they aren't relevant to this conversation. This conversation is about the current Kawasaki. Bringing up Febvre is a good point, though! How can he win a world championship in the same year that Prado had a year long melt down? Same year, same bike. This year, Febvre isn't as good as last season, but he's not going full Chase Sexton. Maybe there's something going on with Kawasaki in America? Maybe the US operation isn't as well put together as the FIM side. Or maybe it's the bike! The production rules are different between MXGP and AMA, so maybe they can make parts for Febvre's bike that they can't in the US.

Look point is you could put Jett or Lucas Coenen on that bike and they would win just as much. I’m just not buying the fact...

Look point is you could put Jett or Lucas Coenen on that bike and they would win just as much. I’m just not buying the fact that there’s some big dark mystery that’s preventing Chase or anybody else that jumps on a KX 450 from winning.

It’s not a dark mystery anymore, as Prado brought it to light. The bike is to ridged, also Kawi didnt let Prado try PC Parts on his bike either even tho Kawi said they were trying anything and everything for Prado, but they sure let Sexton try PC parts and suspension. Tomac left for the some reason, Kawi doesn’t let riders steer to far from certain things/parts or settings. Tomac goes to Star and let him test and use what he wants and goes out and wins the supercross and outdoor championships his first year on the Yamaha.

We could go all day on the Kawasaki chassis from 03 on, but James Stuart still won on that 250. No one can say if it’s the ‘24 chassis, and word is that Febvre was on the production chassis when he won. So what everyone is trying to say is that Chase can’t win or even race, because the bike and management are just too much and are holding him back too much. I’m just not buying it.

Febvre is not on a production frame lol he’s an elite rider on a factory team, MXGP rules are different than AMA when it comes to bikes, MXGP teams can modify the frames, AMA doesn’t allow that. We’ve known Sexton is a head case, and reading between the lines of former Factory Kawi riders, the bike isnt that great and Kawi doesn’t let riders go to far with certain things and settings. Look at AC’s career with Kawi is another example. You won’t hear him bad mouth the bike tho cause he’s loyal to Kawi tho, I bet his career woulda been better off switching brands when he went to the 450 class but we will never know I guess.

Last year he was on a production frame and swing arm when he won the MXGP Championship.

If you followed the sport you would know that.
