Yes, it's being beaten to death in the LL thread.

Simply put, Triumph only has a 250 right now and Brown didn't want to race a 250 against 450s. So he had a blacked-out KTM built. Munn out of Texas helps him. He'll be on a Triumph next year when the 450 is available.

Is he still racing Ironman?

Beaten to death is a bit dramatic, no? I feel like it’s a fair discussion topic. It’s interesting.

I was told the triumph is just a black KTM. What’s the big deal?

If you want to see Mike absolutely shredding a vintage CR125, check Tommy Searle’s latest vlog. Turned lap times equivalent to his 350 on the same day

The gaslighting that goes on in this niche sport is phenomenal to watch and be a part of.

Blacked out is different than Triumph colors and design.

Anyone think us fans should summon MB to race a national? Im guessing he could run top 20.

Btw…..Brandon Haas is faster now than he has ever been.  He must have a trail at hoME and have some quality riding mates.  Maybe he should run a national as well.

Mike admitted it on the podium. Said thanks to Chip at Munn who has been sponsoring Mike for years. Munn amso supplied a 350 to Emig.

So you watched the podium and think that was a KTM?

The guy that signs up to win against nobodies in his off time is caught doing more bullshit? I never saw that coming.

Bud Racing has been doing it for a while now in emx125......they are a long time kawasaki team, so they have to race a 125 ktm, but with the same livery as their kxf250.....everybody in europe understood their need and there was no fuss about it....they are mostly a youth team, and very successful one, and its only logic that they fill the gap their brand has no anwser for it......

i see Mike Brown doing the same, he is an Triumph team member, its only logic that he is promoting his boss when he races.....

And before that they ran YZ125 engines in kxf frames for a season or two.

It’s only logical that the bike registered matches the bike ridden.

yes....you are right......i would even say mandatory instead of logical.....

without actually seeing the inscription form, i think, probably it was Mike Brown, racing for team Triumph, aboard a ktm450 sxf, leading into the confusion shown in the live timing at the beginning....
