Lappers

Put some teeth into blue flag penalties. Lappers have been part of SX forever. I always get excited as soon as the leaders get into lapped traffic. Rules are good the way they are but enforce the blue flag penalties...

So if I’m about to get lapped now I’m going to race the leader even harder not to be black flagged. Does this not make it unfair to the leader as no one else will has to deal with this? There has to be a better way.

What if.... 😄  they had 2 designated "exit" spots on opposite sides of the track, as soon as the leader gets within 15 seconds of a lapper he gets black flagged, and has a red light on his cross bar that lights up as well, similar to the green leader light. It could even be automated. Then that rider has to exit at the next "Exit area" and whatever position they're in is where they finish. Get them off the track before they're a problem. No more blue flags just black.

Then if they don't have a big claw drop down and pluck them out of the way lol

Lets negotiate.

5 seconds. No claw, that's just cruel.

I think 15-rider mains only, top 13 get points, and an additional purse makes sense.

At the same time, Vince went 15-15-12.  He beat Factory Kawis Marchbanks.  So this doesnt solve what people are mad about.

Idk what you do

Fine him. Hes shown he doesnt care about “warnings” probation or whatever else bs they try, and lately they just do nothing. His entire argument for why he rides like a dickbag is “hey im just out there trying to get paid and put food on the table” so his bad behavior should come with a monetary punishment. If money matters so much to him then itll change his behavior so he doesnt lose any. Nothing else has shown to work, now its time to directly hit his pockets. Should hopefully only take 1 time before his little brain learns the lesson finally. Losing money is an actual punishment with real world consequences that directly affects his life just like when he crashes someone out and takes their money away. Fine his ass and hell probably stop… unless he really is full retard, which there is def a possibility.

VitalMX normally: Man, the gates aren’t even being filled, the sport is in a terrible place. Ya well the privateers don’t get paid so they don’t show up to race.

VitalMX this week: SX should go to a 15 man gate, these privateers are just getting in the way.

Classic VitalMX lol, nobody is ever happy.

The gates aren’t being filled?  wtf are you talking about. No one has said this about pro racing.

How about just suspending Friese for two races? End of story. If he does it again, then he is out for four races. If you are getting lapped and you don't get out of the way, then you are out for the next race or two.

This would solve the problem as it would make them pay attention. Pretty simple.

Apparently Friese, Moranz and Thompson did nothing wrong (according to AMA) and didn’t even get penalized any of the bullshit license points. So expect nothing different moving forward.

The first thing that should be done is to enforce the rules. If they aren't penalized at all, then the rules must not be clear enough that those riders were a problem - at least to the AMA. It's weird they didn't get at least the penalty points assessed given the furor around it. Two weeks ago the lead-in lights were in - but not in the rule book. Now we have the rules seem to be relevant, but don't seem to apply here?

What ever happened to the "stop and go" black flag penalty? That would be perfect for lappers who do not heed the blue flag warning.
