After listening to Chase on pulp it got me thinking about him vs Deegan. Chase had a lot of awfully bold takes on guys skipping the MXoN for someone that skipped the event himself last year. I put switching teams in a much lamer category than missing the event due to potential surgery but hey that’s just me.🤷🏻‍♂️

I get it though Chase is friends and has been training partners with Tom, Chance, and Levi recently so he’s already “on the other side”. Everyone has been hyping up 38 vs Jett for the future but Chase isn’t going anywhere anytime soon either. I could see that ending up being an exiting, deep, and bitter rivalry forming between the two Americans. Their personalities seem to be polar opposites and I think they already aren’t too fond of eachother just based on the camps.

I suppose their careers might overlap for a bit, but Chase is 6 years older than Hayden and should be on his way down as Hayden is rising to the top if everyone stays healthy.

RC vs JS vs CR part 2...sounds good to me if that's the case.

Who will be who, though?

Chase is reed, despite the #4. Jett is RC. And Deegs will be #7, the up and coming young gun.

I love that chase actually had the balls to call deegan out. Literally no one else does. Everyone else is terrified of the deegan fans coming at them if they say anything. Gotta give chase a ton of respect for that. Hes not calling him out to cause drama, he wants to win and represent for the usa and everybody on earth knows deegan gives them the best chance to win.

Deegan does the captain America thing but has now two years in a row bailed out of mxon because he didnt think the team was good enough for him. I’m sorry but thats bullcrap. Either put up or shut up. Cut it with all the ppl making excuses too because you know for a FACT if deegan told star hes going to mxon no matter what theyre sending him. The decision was up to him and if he said hes going he goes. Saying the team isnt good enough for him to grace them with his highness is bullcrap. Hopefully the team they send goes and woops ass this year! I agree 100% with phil and chase if deegan bails out this year and hymas does good then hymas should get to go next year too when its at ironman and you know then deegan will conveniently be able to go now. Na if hymas does good he earns a spot next year too!

I find it a little difficult to believe that HD will be at that level anytime soon. He had nothing for Hunter in 250's, and Hunter was the only one to run with Chase this year. I still think the big 3 will be JL18, CS4 and HL96.

Haiden has really stepped it up this year indoors and out, but that doesn't always translate to the 450, hopefully he does some opposite coast races on the big bike this year and we can see what he's got...

Deegan is the king of hype and his handlers are pandering to the following of 14/15 yrs old social media crowd.

no time soon will he be at the level of Jett , Hunter and chase , in time but not soon as  the Deegan crowd would like.

jett , hunter and chase are a level above everyone else on the track at any given time.

The stars don’t have to align for Chase to win.

Clean wipe for HD.  Once he gets out there with Jett and Chase playtime is over it’s gapamania and that 27 sec lead he had before the accident will pale in comparison to him lapping and barcia-stuffing Jett.

That's what a Deegan does.

This. Chase is a lot like Reed - super fast, really dedicated, fit, and has a ton of skill. He's just going to be the odd man out a lot more than he'd like, thanks to the other two.

Switching teams and having to set up a new bIke isn't an excuse for skipping the MXdN. It's a valid reason. To be clear, potential ssurgery for Deegz is a vvalid rreason too.

I realize that you are predominantly taking about 450s, but you bring up something I've thought about this quite a bit actually.

Haiden was a rookie last year and as you say has improved dramatically this year. We got a taste of '24 Haiden last year at Washougal.

I think '24 Haiden against '23 250-riding Hunter would be a great race to watch (especially a series).

I think deegan is setting his sights on the fastest guy in the class . Chase wasn't the top guy until jett was out.

HD has a LONG way to go to get to Jett and Chase’s speed. Not much of a rivalry until they’re near the same speed. But yeah, love how Chase laid it all out there on Pulp. Nothing disrespectful, just straight forward.

Does anybody know how he does at the test track with CW2 and JC32? I heard he is already riding the 450 so he must check lap times...

And we don't even know if he will get there in sx. We hevent seen aanything otherworldly from him indoors. Certainly not anything that iindicates he will challenge Jett and Chase. Outdoors, sure, I think he'll get there.

It's too early.

Thanks for posting the RC/CR/JS pics.  That was some racing.  In hindsight, those costumes were pretty bad.
