You 2 should kiss and make up. You are a good team
We saw the results DV. If you never train another rider because of logistics, perception, or other reasons, just know that we know. You and DF got it done.
Until I see Aldon hit a set of whoops in sandals DV is the man
Don't worry DV anyone with a bit of a brain here can see what you did with Dylan and how your program changed him for the years you worked together !
What you bring to a rider and your vision is unmatched IMO and RC knows it, he said it multiple time on TV
Anyway, did Forkner tried to ask you again for 2024 ?

So you are saying you don"t think riding around with 1 Hand off the bars and 1 foot off the pegs is going to make Forkner win ?
I think it's just a matter of him being injured a lot recently and the bike just not being dialed, especially Outdoors. Also, people comparing the previous YZF before '21 is irrelevant. The bike had a pretty major overhaul in '20, even though it looked very similar. So I think Star taking over in '21 and the bike being better from stock, had a lot to do with it. That platform was perfected at that point. Dylan, Eli, AP and Craig all looked amazing on those bikes in '21 and '22. Dylan was hurt last year and was blazing fast at MXON.
To me, the '23 looked pretty good in SX but also looked like it had it's off nights with Eli, even compared to Eli in '22. Outdoors it appears that they are searching to calm it down. The rear looks low, you can see that they have the wheel as far back as it'll go etc. Even the MXGP guys seem to be off compared to last year. That is just the nature of the new bike. It probably is more give and take. When it hits on set-up it's probably amazing but when it's off it's off. I think once the bike gets dialed and he gets some more seat time, he will be fine.
He keeps yardsailing and killing his progress and I think it so deep in his head that it’s because he can’t trust what the bike is gonna do that this season is pretty much a lost cause.
Doesn’t seem like he’s going back to Yamaha so with him so far out of the title race unless something happens to Jett, relationship might be getting frayed
Good job, misquote him then laugh. Lame
DV…why did you & Dylan split? Seems to me, yours was a solid & effective team.
Knee braces bro, all about the knee(or lack thereof) braces
Because they chose not too? It isn’t our business. Clearly the results speak for themselves. Not everything needs to be aired on Vital.
Damn near everything else is. Why not?
DV is a grown man. If he wants to reply...he will. If he doesn't...he won't He doesn't need you to run interference for him.
Lol say what? 😂
Actually this was aired on vital, by David himself.
Along the lines of- “I didn’t even know we were no longer working together until I saw his social media post saying that he was working with someone else.”
it’s on this forum somewhere.
Think I read somewhere that when the team moved to Florida the writing was on the wall as DV did not want to move, then DF14 got another trainer. BIG lack of communication between everyone.
...rational and level headed evidence based logic is not allowed in this forum.
As to Ryan Hughes training Forkner, Im kind of surprised we didn't see video of Austin juggling kettle bells while standing one- footed on a Bosu ball, that kind of shit produces winners...
Was there an update on Ferrandis DNF yesterday?
Pit Row
He's been sick and went over the bars at Daytona. He ended up with a bone bruise to his knee.
He didn't ride during the week because it was still too sore. He went down in Birmingham and hit his knee again.
He's hoping he'll be fine for Indy.
Daytona crash.
