Trump could also select Vivek Ramaswamy

It would’ve been better if Tatum didn’t comment quite as much, either way…

Vivek or Tulsi would be good. Or RFK. He can’t have a die hard republican as his mate because that doesn’t pull new voters over. It has to be someone who will grab some of the swing voters.

Besides his stance on COVID, RFK Jr is just another statist. No thanks.

Tulsi is a confusing one to me. I'm not sure I 100% buy into her being all for gun control as a Democrat, to suddenly being as pro 2A as they come. If she's being genuine, though, she might be a decent pick.

Vivek says all the right things, but I think he's trying a bit too hard to be like Trump and, to me, it comes off a bit awkward. Part of Trump's draw is that we all know he's an asshole, but he has the charisma to pull it off. I just don't see that charisma with Vivek, so I think he's too polarizing for a VP pick.

Hopefully the Republicans will choose Vivek instead of Trump. It won’t matter anyway, since neither will make it in. They will do good until about midnight to 2am, when the vote switching starts and all the votes start pouring in for Biden, Newsom, or whoever the Dem candidate is.

I've always liked listening to Vivek as a pundit.

I just don't see him as anyone occupying as high a seat in our government as vice president.

Can't see him second in command, or the leading candidate in another 4 years.

But...

The things he says are pretty spot on.

Haley is a snake in the grass.

It's a damn shame that the Republican party is as weak as the democratic party, as far as producing a viable leader for our nation.

One that puts the interests of its citizens first, and foremost.

The Repubs would absolutely wipe the floor with the Dems and send Joe so far out to pasture you couldn't see him any more, if they would just ditch the Trump train. Heck even getting behind someone like Pence would have ended the race long ago.

This will get a ton of downvotes, but I seriously would like to see him have Jr as his VP.

Wrong… the only thing Trump needs to beat the Dems is a fair election.

Kushner would be better. I never had heard the guy speak until he did this interview.

Ramaswamy is certainly an interesting character. He has campaigned on ending birthright citizenship, yet that is exactly why he is an American citizen. His parents were not American citizens (his father still isn’t) but he is simply because he happened to be born in the US.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if he were the President/VP and birthright citizenship were repealed. Talk about a mess of a legal issue!

That's a typical republi-con thing: "I got mine, fuck y'all!"

His parents immigrated to the country LEGALLY..
He wants to end birthright citizenship to people that come to America ILLEGALLY.

But why?

Vivek is raising the bar for public discourse.

Vivek is probably the most articulate person in politics, his ability to quickly respond to hard questions is rare in politics.

Most politicians can only respond with a pre-written (by someone else) response, or just dodge and weave anytime a tough question is asked. Vivek hits it head on, no notes needed. And he answers the question in detail, not just a bullshit half answer.

Don't think he will go much farther this time around, but in 4 years he will be a serious contender. Can't see him wanting the VP spot, but crazier things have happened.

Trump would have been down for the count and blamed someone else for his fall. A slip like that would have killed Biden.

First you’d need to know enough to spell her name correctly….

😎

And then you’d need to know enough about her to know that she is a naturalized citizen, not a natural born citizen. So yeah, there could be a national meltdown if he had so little understanding of our constitution that he chose her.

Pretty sure that’s what you were referring to, right?

edit-didn’t read to the bottom so didn’t realize that sully had already pointed out her ineligibility.

she just needs to call obama's birth cert guy

Don’t think Washington will let Trump back in the White House. The fix is in. DOJ are speeding up the cases on Trump. He will be in New York jailhouse. Where he may commit suicide. This is getting serious now. The computer is never wrong…..”

Let me explain something very important. George Soros’ son has come out and said that Trump would not go away unless he is in prison. I am not at liberty to say at this time, but the FIX IS IN and Trump will be imprisoned in the Washington, DC case.”

”They have done everything they possibly can to stop Trump, for they KNOW he will do his best to prevent their agenda. Yet, unfortunately, the computer has warned that either side will NOT accept the 2024 election. They are outright pushing to put Trump in prison. The Attorney General has now come out pushing for a speedy trial in DC because they think throwing Trump in prison will be the only thing that will stop him.”

Could DeSantis make a run for vp now???

I doubt it.

He's not polling well outside of his home state.

He would bring nothing to the table for Trump, who will already snag the Florida vote.

True, but could they pull the usual after they drop and endorse and restart DeSantis aspirations under the ultimate episode of apprentice? Lol
