What's your thoughts? I say, as long as he was showing up for work, what he does in his personal life is nobodies biz. He was the star of the show and not a pos show, it was very funny, prob. the best on TV The guy went off yesterday yeah, but the producer went at Charlie first

He seems a little effed up but hey , is that really out of the ordinary in Hollywood? I guess CBS dropped his show for the rest of this season. If they don't pick it up for next season I would bet another network will. I personally think the show is very funny.

The guy is on a collision course with the jailhouse. He is in full tilt denial addiction and he will have to either die or hit rock bottom before he kicks it. Making all that good money is only enabling his problem.

Not the first rich guy to tank himself, wont be the last.

Charlie Sheen has a few things to say.

The hard-partying actor phoned into Alex Jones's radio show on Thursday and unleashed a fury of rhetorical bullets from another dimension on the media, his co-workers, critics, Alcoholics Anonymous and pretty much anyone that doesn't spend time doing cocaine and/or having sex with him.

First of all, know that he's pure awesome, all the time. And he's glad friend Lenny "Nails" Dykstra told the world.

"I think it was Nails that said, and I was really flattered that he got it right, he might be Nails, but I'm bayonets. I'm battle tested bayonets... I'm so tired of pretending like my life isn't just perfect and just winning every second, and I'm not just perfect and bi**hing and just delivering the goods at every frickin' turn. Look what I'm dealing with, man. I'm dealing with fools and trolls. I'm dealing with soft targets, and it's just strafing runs in my underwear before my first cup of coffee ... they lay down with their ugly wives and their ugly children and just look at their loser lives and then they look at me and say, 'I can't process it.' Well, no, and you never will! Stop trying! Just sit back and enjoy the show."

He opens up about the women he's been living with -- his so called "porn family."

"Let me say this about the Goddesses, I don't think the term is good enough, but when you're bound by these terrestrial descriptions, you must use the best term available. So if you think about it dude, I'm 0-for-3 in marriage, but like in baseball, the scoreboard doesn't lie. Never has. So what we all have is a marriage of the hearts. And to sully, contaminate, or radically disrespect this unit with a shameful contract is something I'll leave to the amateurs and bible grippers."

Then, talk about his ex-wife Brooke Mueller and the vacation he was taking with her and two other women:

"And I just gotta add this, there was a whole firestorm about Brooke being a part of our crew... Where there were four, there are now three. Good-bye, Brooke, and good luck in your travels; you're going to need it. Badly ... She's not there now and we are and I don't know, winning, anyone? Rhymes with winning? Anyone? Yeah, that would be us. Sorry man, didn't make the rules. Oops."

On his recovery -- which he is entirely responsible for himself:

"I have cleansed myself. I closed my eyes and in a nanosecond, I cured myself... It's the work of sissies. The only thing I'm addicted to is winning. This bootleg cult, arrogantly referred to as Alcoholics Anonymous, reports a 5 percent success rate. My success rate is 100 percent. Do the math ... another one of their mottoes is 'Don't be special, be one of us.' Newsflash: I am special, and I will never be one of you! I have a disease? Bulls**t! I cured it with my brain, with my mind. I cured it, I'm done ... you don't look like you're having a lot of fun. I'm gonna hang out with these two smoking hotties and fly privately around the world. It might be lonely up here but I sure like the view, Alex!"

On not being pushed around anymore:

"I'm sorry, man, but I've got magic. I've got poetry in my fingertips. Most of the time -- and this includes naps -- I'm an F-18, bro. And I will destroy you in the air. I will deploy my ordinance to the ground."

And his lovely take on the hard working media, who Alex Jones says alleged that both he and Sheen worked for the Vatican as assassins:

"Guys, it's right there in the thing, duh! We work for the Pope, we murder people. We're Vatican assassins. How complicated can it be? What they're not ready for is guys like you and I and Nails and all the other gnarly gnarlingtons in my life, that we are high priests, Vatican assassin warlocks. Boom. Print that, people. See where that goes."

Don't worry, there's much more. Including his "Giving Tree" and Beachhead death card mashup tattoo, his new "Major League" movie, trashing of the executive producer of "Two and a Half Men," his secret and silent soldiers, loving and hating with violence and much, much more. Yeah the dudes got a problem and obvioulsy needs help. If youve seen any of the newer shows you'll notice how bad he looks. Its as if he's aged 10 years in just the past year. But its his life to screw up if he wants. I say as long as he can work, then let him work. Its better for him than sitting around. Then again I might just be saying that because 2 /12 men is my favorite TV show. Smile

I like the show, but over the past few months, he has come across as pure bat-shit crazy. Randy Quaid kind of crazy.

he had more insults for Men creator Chuck Lorre whom he called a "clown" and "loser."
Sheen also called Lorre a "charlatan" and a "turd" and would only refer to him by his "real name, Chaim Levine."
I violently hate Chaim Levine," Sheen said. "He's a stupid, stupid little man and a p**sy punk that I'd never want to be like. That's me being polite."

I don't know boys, there's been plenty of rock stars that have lots more drugs and partying and they seem to be doing fine. I think dude is funny as hell and its true that the producer went after Charlie first. I don't think Charlie getting laid and having fun is a crime, everyone says " Oh he's hurting himself, he's gonna die " I say bullshit, he's doing what he wants when he wants, that's the whole point of being an American. If it kills him, well, you can't say he didn't die having fun which is something most can't say. I don't think I could live like that, but I sure as hell don't care if he does, who's he hurting??

When actors like Sheen go off the deep end it becomes difficult to insure them and drives up the costs of production. Sheen is a fucking asshole that just cost over 200 people their jobs. Camera men, caterers, grips, lighting techs, electricians ect ect all out of work now.

Ever seen/heard some of these actors getting into their role by spending a shit load of time to what the person they are portraying's atmosphere and history before they do the script to be more effective in the role?

Just an analogy but maybe Sheen has become a product of his environment as his role has become him? ...Blink Dude does reflect his real life gotta had it to'em not a bad life to have but as you say life in the fast lane is a death wish if lived for long.

Go Sheen I am living vicariously through you my man!

Theres an interesting discussion here involveing society keeping a person in their role.

Ever try to change? Its tough. I do it from time to time in my little world. And when I try to make positive changes in my life whether through diet, attitude or outlook...and I'M HAPPY... those around me ask me what is wrong with a concerned look. The changed me is not the same me and hence those around me know not how to react.

Society is happy when their entertainers keep there role, and the entertainer is happiest when he is the most entertaining. In this case its Charlie Sheen, party animal. The known character, though flawed, is more comfortable to society than the unknown character. Perhaps Chuck has just given in to those around him.

On a side note, and in all seriousness, I apply this same logic to Jason Lawrence.

Charlie Sheen and Jason Lawrence in the same thread. And it actually makes sense, but I never would have thought those two would be somehow looked at as "brother's from another mother"....

So am I the only one that figured giving 2 million dollars an episode to guy that loves booze, hookers and coke was a bad idea?

Is any of this surprising?

2 million an epidsode to a guy that loves booze, hookers, and coke; to play a guy that loves booze, hookers, and coke. I can't be the only one to see the irony.

I find it funny how appalled people are over Charlie Sheen. If he were a musician rather than an actor nobody would care.

Just like a good police officer knows when to turn off his badge, an actor needs to know when to step back to reality.

It's sad.

He thinks that because he has money it makes him immune from the grip of alcohol, sex addiction and drugs. Time always proves the opposite. It's sad because he used to be a really funny actor (pre-2 1/2 men).
